You're supposed to find a BFG world, enter it and then wrench the MAGPLANT 5000, which looks like a blue machine with a block floating in the middle. If there are still blocks available to be broken, you'll be able to BFG there

Buyut and buygaia I believe are the worlds to buy gaut. They store 1.5k blocks for ut and 1.5k seeds for gaia. I think it costs like 280 wls or something close to that and Gaia costs like 6dls (not too sure) but it is worth it considering how much cheaper it is. Only downside is not having a remote.

UT is very helpful when it comes to harvesting trees. makes collecting the blocks 100x easier and much less time consuming. i don't use Gaia because of the price, i don't find it worth it because i don't have a ton of seeds to collect, but that's just me.
