You can check which pack provide the highest gem to wl ratio. For example: 200 ssp is 20k gems and you can sell it for 11wls. 20k/11wl which mean you can get 1wl with 1818.18 gems. Try to find the pack that provide more wls while requires lesser gems.

That'd be the lazy massing path; unless you are certain the Amphoras you'd mass could cover up your losses, I do not recommend directly buying Jail Door seeds.

With that said, I know equally well on how truamatizing the Plumbing path is. If you cannot handle the plumbing path mass, don't mass SSUs.

I have mentioned earlier that the prices are dependent on supply and player's demand, and how they jusge the prices for the said recipes. But, how did that all come into play when the item was released?

Supply and demand rise and fall until an equilibrium price is reached. This means that during the time of its release, it is when the prices are EXTREMELY unstable, and may be the leading point of price for the following few days, weeks or even months.

The prices are heavily dependent on influx of supply and player's demand, at any point in time.

So lets say at 17:00GT time, generally considered an off peak hour in Growtopia, if the supply during that time circulating the market is at its highest, and the demand does not match the influx of supply at that point in time, the price generally will drop for the time being.

Now lets bring in another case, lets say 7AM GT Time, considered a peak hour in Growtopia. If there is a sudden influx of demand, and low amount of supply circulating the market at that point in time, the market price of the item will increase for the time being.

That is how some players use peak hour and off peak hours to their advantage. Also, the term "manip" is stupid, because mostly everything related to price changes is dependent on influx of supply and/or demand, not based on a group of lets say 2 people deciding that they should sell the item at a higher price.

Peak pricing fluctuates based on changing circumstances—such as increase in demand at a certain time, the type of customers being targeted, or evolving market conditions[influx of players etc.].
Peak period in Growtopia is basically the time frame where most players are active. With the influx of players due to the peak period, you can increase your selling price based on such circumstances. Items with high demand will also be easily sold during the peak hour. However, this could also bring in more sellers of the item you’re trying to sell, and an over flow of supply at a certain point in time could bring the average price of the item down. This could also work for Off-Peak hours, as the item has low supply during off-peak hours, it is possible to sell it for a higher price due to higher demand at a certain point in time.

-> Can be ground into a cooking ingredient.
-> [FARMER ROLE] Bloccoli Mini-Trees are dropped from harvesting Pepper Tree, which costs 9 - 11 each

You'd be making a higher overall profit if you can consistently farm them whenever they're ready to harvest, mainly due to the growth time being shorter than Laser Grids.

Just remember to equip items which increases the number of punches required to break blocks when you harvest them in that world format (so that you do not accidentally break the Science Stations). Personally would recommend Cursed Wizard Hat + Heartbow (the blocks become completely unbreakable with these two items equipped, unless you have Enhanced Digging mods on other clothing slots)

Portcullis seeds has higher demand compared to blocks. Since the estimated ratio of getting seeds back from breaking blocks is 1 : 4, it wouldn't affect you that much from breaking the harvested portcullis to get the seeds. Just avoid farming it since it is not a farmable component.
The seed loss or seed gain is determined in the harvesting phase; a farmable block usually has a higher excess seed drop rate and drops more than 4 fruits max.

Portcullis seeds has higher demand compared to blocks.
This is because Portcullis are a common component in massing, and massers would purchase seeds in order to off-set their other seed amount if they lack any portcullis seeds. You could try out ghost hunting.
The theory behind ghost hunting profiting is that you catch ghosts with ghost jars and resell the ghost jar seeds as well as the ghost in jars. Your main profit this way comes from the GIJs.

For the full process of how to catch a ghost with a ghost jar, I suggest watching a YouTube video on it.

Alternatively, you could start a mass project (portcullis would be recommended).
Massing is usually the process of splicing two seeds together (which has an existing recipe), into another component which builds up into the final product. The steps provided below are for a portcullis mass:

Windows ( farmable component ) + Door = Dungeon Door ( not a farmable component )
Dungeon Door ( not a farmable component )+ Death Spikes ( farmable component ) = Portcullis ( not a farmable component )

Farming is the process of planting, harvesting and breaking (then repeating)

So when you get to the point where you have an unfarmable component, don't farm it, just hold on to the seeds

If you do farm the unfarmable components, you will face seed loss (based on rarity of the tree), basically resulting in an overall loss unless you have that covered in your built up mass
