I mean there's also a whole lot of these layers:

Dense layer

Fully connected layer where each neuron is connected to every neuron in the previous layer. It is commonly used in feedforward neural networks.

Convolutional Layer

Used for processing grid-like data, such as images or time series. They apply filters to extract spatial or temporal patterns.

Recurrent Layer

Designed for sequential data, such as text or time series, where the order of data points matters. They capture temporal dependencies by maintaining an internal state.

Pooling Layer

Downsamples the spatial dimensions of the input, reducing its size and extracting important features. MaxPooling and AveragePooling are commonly used.

Dropout Layer

Regularization technique that randomly sets a fraction of input units to 0 during training, reducing overfitting and improving model robustness.

Batch Normalization Layer

Normalizes the activations of a previous layer, improving the stability and speed of training by mitigating internal covariate shift.

Some are used for some, but ultimately I believe it ends on FCNN.

For example, CNN layer can start from really low filters, then climb all the way up till the deep learning model learns all the patterns, like for example this sticker: #☕off-topic message it would learn how to classify it into that class if it shows a particular pattern throughout all the data

Then it would end on FCNN in order to predict, number of units depends on number of classes. I've watched a SUPER SUPER helpful video about this before and trust me that was the best few minutes of my life spent understanding this stupidly hard thing. Lemme see if I can find it.
