Oh if you're always buying from canteens or food courts I suggest tricks like asking for lesser oil or salt if they're cooked on the spot

Usually in Singapore, hawker or food court cooked foods are usually rushed due to long queues so they don't pay particular attention at some point in time, and asking for lesser would make them more focused when cooking and also be healthy for you

Well, I'm not really sure about the situation in your country, but such requests would always be good ( i consider this a life hack )
