best way to conserve stitches is to use clamp:
sponge > anesthetic > scalpel > sponge > clamp > clamp

no, it's easier. massive is harder

in massive, I had no choice but to use stitches like so:
Sponge > Transfusion > Sponge > Anesthetic > Sponge > Scalpel > Sponge > Stitches

This stop the bleeding completely, Usually, you'll need 4 stitches to stop the bleeding, but with this trick, only 1 spent.

then you can do the rest by using ultrasound, etc.

Using normal, intended way would spend 4+3 stitches (assume no skill fails)
Using this trick, 1+3 stitches (assume no skill fails)
