well you can't really give people who apply for moderators direct access to sensistive information. You have to obviously test them and select those who are worthy of moving onto being trained as a trial mod. Mods sign NDAs so its basically like you're apart of Ubisoft once you become a moderator

Well, the guardian phase is for testing the new guys, y’know? I don’t think it’s a good idea to give people mod powers right away. Also if the guardian phase didn’t exist :D, the guys you don’t want as guardians would be moderators.

I'm ngl I've disliked the guardian program from the get-go. But you do kinda have to look at the guardian program as a test to see whether a player is trustworthy enough to become a moderator. It is also useful to have someone taking the time to collect player feedback (and provide feedback of their own) for the devs. Sure influencers could do that too but then you'd also run into the problem of who to promote to be the next mod.

I think you can be helpful as a guardian, mods don't always have the time to watch over the discord and events so it's good to have someone to assist with that. In game though being a guardian felt very pointless

Some things genuinely feel like scut work for mods instead of handing those to guardians. Like for example, renders... throughout this year it broke around a total of 4-5 months. If guardians had enough zoom range they could've helped with the load by 90% at least.

easiest way is to change DNS to googles open dns server or 1.1.1.1
