With their switch on how updates work, i am not sure we'll see something on a big scale soon. Like, everyone is begging for an end update for years but all we get is 2 grass and 3 retextured mobs. Recent updates are really just retextured slops and in general low quality. Also their way of listening to the community has like 10 year delay. People asked for wolf armor when the wolf was first added which was like back in 2010 or smth and they just recently added it 💀

Yea i agree. Its sad that most of the mechanics in the game is broken and heavily needs a rework. Like enchanting. Its annoying and doesnt add much anymore. Xp system is outdated too. Weapons, game has like 5 but most of them doesnt have a use. Trident? Cool but sword can do better. Mace? Cool but again, sword can do better. There is no big threat or strong mob in the game to actually use the mace on. Crossbow? Cool but power 5 bow is 10 times better. Its always the sword no variety. And stuff like this. But i appreciate them adding dev tools and stuff to datapacks and resource packs and commands in general as a map maker i enjoy those more than the updates lol
