there is technical reasons why it can't go higher. Technically you could run MC 1.14 with Java 16 or 17 but Buildtools requires a lower verison for compatibility reasons so it is easier to keep both versions the same 😛

Hello! I have an issue where the Minecraft Server I'm running keeps ticking up memory, and eventually hangs with no error messages, I'm thinking it's a memory leak but am not sure.

I am using Purpur (latest build) with aikar's flags set for more than 16+gb and have 16gb allocated to the server with 25gb allocated to the pterodactyl node I'm hosting on.

The dedi I'm hosting it on has 32gb ram.
Anyone had an issue like this? Any Ideas? Thanks 🙂

Well if you want to start from scratch you just need the appropriate files including pack.json and optionally pack.png

If you want the default minecraft textures to go off of you can extract them from the versions jar

Since this is in help-server I presume you wish to put this on your server?

You can put a server pack on however players can choose to deny it, I've seen plugins solve this by kicking the player if they deny the pack

Most server hosts have the pack location under configuration but you need to upload a zip of the pack online and grab the link to that

Right now our team is running the server on 1.7.10 (very old, but for mod reasons). We have recently updated our server environment to support plugins. Fortunately, Factions, Luckperms, multiverse, world guard and other plugins have been successfully installed and are working. However, only CB 1.7.9-R0.1 exists for Vault, and even if I install it, it doesn't respond. Is there any solution for this? I know it's a silly question, but I really want to make the most of Factions' features (I want to be able to access money/econ) and I was wondering if anyone could suggest any alternatives.

Hello team, I have a problem that I've been facing for a long time now.

In short, players are able to log-in our server, type "/" and start spamming TAB to auto-complete ALL server/plugin commands in an attempt to exploit something.

However, the **"tab-complete" **function in Spigot.yml seemed to be the perfect solution. Well, until I realized it does not work as stated. When value is on 2,3 or 4, it does NOT require to input the first 2,3 or 4 characters, respectively, instead it allows the "/" TAB spam method to work like before. In other words, it does matter what positive value you put, the auto-complete exploit method always works. When "tab-complete" is set to "-1", yes, it prevents the "/" + TAB method, but it makes ALL commands red "unrecognized", they work, but that does not seems like a valid solution for me.

Hey Guys, ive got a issue fir spigot where no mobs spawn at all. I tried removing every plugin, and tried just running spigot. No zombie or any other monster. Only a few cows and sheeps. There even no water animals
any solutions?

make sure ur spigots updated, might be on the bugged version
