Hi there - newer to spigot but work in game dev - looking to set up a fun server for me and some co-workers. Have all the custom permissions set up, and now looking into Vanilla+ plugins. Plugins that extend progression and economy, and gameplay without changing the vanilla playthrough experience. Unfortunately I'm having an issue finding anything compatible with 1.18 - Was wondering if any fine folks here might know where I can start to look, or clues as to what I can google to get started - suggestions are also welcome please!

You have a few options. 1. Authme, which limits players connections based on ip, however if family or students want to play they wont be able to.
2. Keep banning him, eventually he will run out of legit accounts.
3. Ask your host to change your external IP.

I'm running a minecraft 1.7.10 modded server that has essentials, essentialschat, luckperms and vault and in the essentials config I have group-formats setup, however it doesn't matter what role the player has it will always use the format set up for default role. All the roles that I have listed below group-formats in essenrialschat confiig are spelled the same as they are in luckperms. This is likely due to the fact that essentialschat and other plugins don't know what role people have in luckperms because luckperms isn't communicating with other plugins which is what I thought adding vault should've fixed. So all plugins think the player has the default role

    default: '&8[Player]&7 {DISPLAYNAME}&f:&r {MESSAGE}'
    admin: '&5[Admin]&7 {DISPLAYNAME}&f:&r {MESSAGE}'

The permission group.<groupname> is a special one used by luckperms in order to determine rank inheritance. I don't know your rank setup, but the permission group.admin should be on the group above it, which would likely be owner. As for the rest of your ranks, the rank above default should have the permission group.default as that group is one step above, it needs the permissions from default.

Well, I'm not entirely sure what's going on then. It's probably just an issue with the server version and lack of support. I'd suggest trying placeholderapi, but I don't think it supports that far back.

There is actually one more thing you could try. Since you're using an ancient version, maybe the version of vault needs to be lower. However, that would first require you to have or know where to get older versions. Plus, it would require a lot of trial an error testing. Lastly, it may not even work.

In lukewarmperms, use /lp group default permission set permissionnode.

Replace permissionnode with the permission needed for sethome. Upon glancing into my magic crystal ball, it tells me you might be using EssentialsX. You can find their permission nodes here: https://essinfo.xeya.me/permissions.html

So you would use /lp group default permission set essentials.sethome to give the sethome permission to everyone by default. If it's another sethome plugin and not essentialsx, you can usually find their permission node on their plugin page or wiki

well, if resetting your playerdata doesn't spawn you back there, you should find out why the world isn't being loaded.
in your startup log, the only worlds i see loading are world, nether, end, and whatever nullscape:end_island is
