Has anyone updated their server from 1.17.x to 1.18 yet after pre-generating the world in 1.17? Looking to understand what impact updating has on the existing pre generated world. For example does it add the caves below and change bedrock to deepslate or does it ignore them and just change build height?

I'm having a bit of trouble with creating NPCs in 1.18 with the EntityPlayer. The original method is:
EntityPlayer npc = new EntityPlayer(server, server.getWorldServer(), profile);
But the getWorldServer() methd is now obsolete, what do I use in replacement? I searched the EntityPlayer and MinecraftServer classes and others with a decompiler for Ecllipse, with only server.overworld() being another alternative but it doesn't work and the console just throws a MethodNotFound exception

I just updated Spigot and Multicraft (My panel) is barking out these errors using JDK-17.0.1\bin\javaw.exe
BuildTools requires at least 512M of memory to run (1024M recommended), but has only detected 247M.
This can often occur if you are running a 32-bit system, or one with low RAM.
Please re-run BuildTools with manually specified memory, e.g: java -Xmx1024M -jar BuildTools.jar

Hey, i have an question with LPC, so i got Essentials installed Vault, LPC and luckperms, so after i instealled LPC to get prefixes when you type. The nicknames when you do /nick dont show anymore like, it just shows your normal player name, but if i try to do it shows in chat that "your nickname is now ......." and it shows the color i typed

tl;dr
My server is having issues when it is launched, crashing and hanging both the process and the OS
I am having an issue with my spigot installation and Java 17 in general. I am not sure what is causing the issue, and I tried several fixes, but they all seemed to just slightly improve the situation without solving it.
When I run the server jar (the latest spigot-18 snapshot build) it first launches as normal, but after a while, before loading the world, the process hangs, gets killed, and restarts. When it actually restarts, the process hangs and overloads my hardware, shutting off ssh and restarting the entire OS.
My hardware is a Raspberry Pi Model 4, 8GB RAM model, with the Java Oracle JVM, 17.0.1.
If it can help, I have installed an Zulu Compiled JVM as suggested by the article on spigotmc, and I have it set up in a way that automatically launches that specific java installation. I have overridden more times the installation with the Oracle one, but it doesn’t seem to improve significantly.
Last thing, here below are some server crash logs, might be helpful

either in the server log, an hs_err in the server folder, or your kernel logs (out of memory killer)

To achieve what you mentioned I'd say first create a menu in EconomyShopGUI, you can do that by creating a custom menu in the Shops.yml with the contents you want, then I'm assuming you also add it to Sections.yml

Anyone know how I can reload the placeholders for Jobs Reborn? After the 1.18 update they're showing as the full code, not converted to the value of the placeholder. Some work, some not. The ones I need to change are %jobsr_user_joinedjobcount% and %jobs_user_totallevels%
You can still use DiscordSRV for this, just need to configure it in a way it looks a bit in your minecraft chat to look a bit better. Just point minecraft chat to the same discord channel for all servers and discord will spit it back out to the other servers connected to that discord channel.

Has anyone had issues with java jdk17 upgrading to the new spigot 1.18? my start.bat is complaining it cant access the spigot-1.18.jar. Double checked spelling, .bat is in same directory as .jar, files have full controll / are not read only
