Hey guys, im new to data packs and i made a data pack that sets the world borders to 16 x 16 centered around spawn point. Then it grows 2 blocks every 5 mc days. This all works well and it makes for a decent chunk challenge. My issue is that mobs does not spawn outside the world border which kinda ruins the whole survive part. Is there a way to enable normal mc mob spawning outside world borders or a way to achieve the same effect without moving the world borders. Im currently on 1.17

Okay, how's the lighting? Are you sure there are no caves full of mobs under the farm? Cause I mean if mobs are spawning elsewhere, but not in farms, it's just an issue with the farm itself/lighting/mobcaps, and not spigot or your server settings.

That type of thing seems simple enough it may work and they just haven't tested it. I find that to be the case in many simpler plugins as long as they're not doing something with an API that got updated in the new version. Might be worth a shot. Can always remove it if it's broken in 1.17.x

From the comments it sounds like the developer is pretty responsive, and there are commits within the last few months on their GitHub, so if you find something wrong in 1.17 with it they'll probably fix it. Probably they haven't gotten around to upgrading their own server yet and nobody's told them if it works or not on someone else's.

Hello, I hope I found the right place to ask this question, but if not then it's completely fine to ignore/delete this.

I've been trying to find a plugin that passively discourages stealing items from other players stuff but without being too "moderator like". For some context, for the past 3 or so years I've been hosting servers for me and my friends to play on and a have a select couple friends that tend to take items of others fairly often. I enjoy playing with them though excluding that. My solution was making it so people could claim chests and allow who they please to access them. This makes it feel too restricted and less like your playing a vanilla "freinds" experience, which isn't really what I want.
To get to my point. Is there a plugin that could essentially show everyone in an out of the way style that another player is accessing someones stuff? I don't know the wording I should use to search for such a plugin (apart from this whole thing I've just written), which is why I ask here. 😄

i see everyone always asking for spawn plugin, randomize spawn location, etc... but never see people ask for a spawn plugin that will spawn the player at the nearest location set in the config lel

it turns out that the plugin is magically easy to make with only 5 lines to check the nearest location

Hey so im helping to develop a server so I use alot of commands but for some reason all my commands say "may death rain upon them" ive looked through the configs of many of the plugins and I cant seem to find the cause. Also FYI im on bedrock but im using Geyser to connect and its not a resource pack

for example if i do // for worldedit it comes up like this

Hi everybody, i recently tried to install a plugin, but it made my server crash saying that some plugin has been infected by some kind of virus, i tried to look on google for a virus scanner for plugins (since scanner like virustotal said it was clean), i found a software called "MCAntivirus", i tried to use it and he spammed my console with [DETECTED] and Spigot.MALWARE.ChestGiveaway.A

Hello, so I am setting up a prison server. On my server I have donator ranks that players can buy with /buy. So basically lets say a player buys a rank, they go from default rank inmate to the rank they bought called thief. So lets say they are at A rank in the prison. they then type /rankup and they go to b rank. But then when they rankup there donator rank switches back to default inmate rank. I am pulling my hair out for weeks on this and finally decided to ask for help.
