I think its more based on disk and cpu if you got multiple threads but as for if a world got a player in it and its being loaded/rendered then it will use ram

No, the normal multiple players per server. That is if the console puts the nicknames of the players for a while and they move too fast and does not let you move and then it gives that error and crashes

Hard to say without digging to see which ones are using the most memory. Probably your best bet is just reduce render distances until then

You can remove it, provided your host allows you to change the JVM arguments. (Or if you're running it locally, then it's easy)
You just need to start the JVM with the -DIReallyKnowWhatIAmDoingISwear argument. Should just add it right before the -XmxnG.

Correct. You have nothing in there causing it to loop when the program exits, and unless /restart is pointing back to that script (I'd recommend not having the screen part of it in there for that, maybe create a second copy if necessary and use that explicitly for when the server restarts within the screen), then it won't start back up
What I do is something like

echo "Press and hold Ctrl+C to exit"

sleep 1

done```Gives you a 3 second period after it shuts down before starting again (for if you want to shut it down completely)
Skip the /restart command and just stop the server to restart it since the script will boot it back up automatically

hey we are running a bungee server with multiple worlds we have tried to change the whitelist plugin today but new one had issues so added the old plugin back into the proxy both me and the other staff are whitelisted we can log in, but i keep getting this when i try to access one of the worlds

ha not the best at explaining things. we tried bungee safeguard earlier as our whitelist kept reverting to older whitelists but couldn't get it to work properly so removed it and added bungee whitelist. i can access all but one of the worlds when i try it says im not whitelisted
