@west cloak idk what these guys are smoking but you aren't out of heap space so raising that will do nothing. The system that your server is running on ran out of memory itself. So the advice would still be to contact your host as the issue is with them, but buying more memory from them won't help this whatsoever. Although you can also see that they have set the max heap size to 16gb on a system which only has access to 14 so errr

Quick question: I'm running a server and I noticed that some chunks are loading like 50 mobs (hostile) and other chunks load one or 2. The problem is when someone needs to make a mob farm and gets like 1-2 and other person just wants to explore and gets like 30 zombies attacking him. I tried to raise the amount of mobs in the bukkit.yml, but I'm getting the same problem. Is there anyway I can set an amount of mobs per chunk in the configs or any plugin?

Ok, my attempts to ask the question in general chat failed drastically, so here i go.

I'm currently investigating on different ways of server building and what they do and don't break. From what I've heard (please tell me if i'm wrong), some builds based on Paper overhaul vanilla mob spawning mechanics, and that messes with some technical farms and makes things like mob switches impossible to make. Considering that, i'm thinking on moving my server (currently Paper core w/ CraftBukkit) to Spigot core.

So my questions are: Am i right about that overhaul, and what exactly do different builds break? And do I need to change anything other than the main .jar to switch the server core to Spigot - because those may store game files differently (vanilla and paper certainly do due to overworld/nether/end treated as different worlds rather than dimensions in paper).

got an issue with players somehow being able to see certain plugins. Blocked the obvious ones such as /ver, /pl. /? and tab completion yet they used a client to get them. Any ideas on how to block them from doing that?
