although @glacial sundial to be fair, it wasn't limited to UDP portforwarding on Telus due to WHY it wasn't possible. See they had limited IP space and put customers on a CG-NAT so that they would share all the same public ip space for their outbound connections.

so you had to have a static public-ip dedicated to your customer account in order to have any control over port-forwarding.

and I guess in 2013 they had only allowed business accounts to get a static

@hot ibex okay, so you can get away with this over ssh using tmux or screen to hold the command open if you get disconnected. But just go ahead and reconnect to the LAN with the following command sudo ifdown eth0 && sudo ifup eth0. If that doesn't work a reboot might do the trick, but idk.

my cats chewed on my surround sound speaker wires and severed the cable to the back right speaker

and I wound up stripping the ends of each side with a crappy pocket knife just so I could twist the wires together and put some electrical tape over it to keep things in place.

and to hide the exposed wire as well ofc.

Do all jars need a vanilla jar to work? I can’t join my server and I tried using paper spigot which is not my cup of tea but I found out it for some reason needed to download the vanilla jar or something along the lines of “jar file”in the debug logs but it was blocked for due to some certificate issue so I’m assuming spigot did not let me connect because it could not download something and could not log it?

Hey guys, I am trying to add more RAM to my server and I am running into a issue. Currently the ram in run.sh is set 1G. When I try to set it to 1.5G, I get an error. How can I add more RAM without going all the way to 2G (I dont have enough as I am using a Rasbpberry Pi). Thanks.

Hey Guys, i have a Problem regarding loading a new premade World.

I wanted a super Flat world for my Server (1.16.4). I tried to alter the server.properties by adding the level-type=flat and deleted the previous world, nether and end.
But instead of a Flat World the server created a normal world with mountains and stuff.

I then downloaded a custom map unzipped it and copied it to the directory.
After starting the Server it created a new map again with mountains and such.

I´m running worldeddit, Essentials and Worldguard on the server.

Is it possible that the Pluggins cause the problem?

I even tried to alter the level.dat but with the same result.

Hello everybody,

I'm using 1.16.5 spigot and I'm using Litebans, Essentials, LuckPerms. The problem is when I restarted the server yesterday litebans glitched or something. I tried today to type /ban or /mute and it said I dont have a permission and I checked my group in LuckPerms and I still had my perm. I removed litebans and restarted the server, but the same message appeared from litebans - you don't have a permission. I rechecked my plugins folder and there wasnt a litebans there.

I think it cached something, but i don't know how to fix it :/
