If you want, try removing half the plugins at a time that might potentially be an issue until they no longer can.

Things like worldguard for example likely won’t be the issue, unless there’s some new backdoor with a major plugin, which would be outside of our scope

Stuff like this is super helpful. If you know what you have added since it started happening, you can essentially work backwards

No matter what that thing is, since you essentially are blind with what the issue may be (beyond knowing that it has to interact with the OP file/command) you can’t really say X isn’t the problem with 100% certainty at this point

Does this happen (semi)frequently? If so, try and get a timings report of the server, to see if it is in fact the server just struggling hardware wise, or if it’s a specific plugin taking up a huge portion of CPU power (likely the former from my experience, but doesn’t mean the latter is impossible)

hey guys, this is basically my only hope left to fix this. for the past week or so my (pebblehost-hosted) server has had an issue where anyone without op permissions cannot interact with mobs, they cant damage them or ride them or anything that would be normally available. ive tried removing every single plugin i had except Vault, EssentialsX and LuckPerms, then putting the plugins back in one by one. oddly enough, that fixed it for a while, then it breaks again. each time i fix it by doing something like restarting a plugin or changing a config setting, it fixes itself for a few hours then goes right back to it.

the plugins i currently have are : bStats, BuycraftX, ClearLag, EssentialsX, Factions, GriefPrevention, Harbor, Jobs, KeepChunks, LibsDisguises, LoginPlus, LuckPerms, mcMMO, MythicMobs, Parties, PluginMetrics, ProtocolLib, RandomTP, SignShop, Vault, WorldEdit

im pretty much out of options, i switched the jar from spigot to paper and back, i removed plugman and groupmanager since thats what i thought was causing the problem, i replaced my mcMMO version, and i dont know what to do next

So, if I want to put it that way, I have a root server there I want to run a Minecraft client. But can not use a keyboard or mouse totally blind. The server doesn't even have the desktop, only the ssh console. I just want to connect to a Minecraft server and take a screenshot. But he has to start Minecraft. I used to run my minecraft server on Windows VPS and it was working well. I bought another Windows VPS from another website and from another country in EU (Germany). When i launch the server, I can't connect to it on my pc. The server keeps loading in server list and doesn't say anything (Not even "Can't connect to this server". It just keeps loading)

nvm, had to go into launch setting on minecraft launcher. Optifine was launching minecraft -Xmx2GB. I changed it to 8GB no problems now

User also claims they want to downgrade because they learned Spigot on 1.12.2. You're fine. Bukkit's API has not removed anything of significance since then until now. It's mostly forwards compatible and aims to be as much as possible

ok so basically
the dream for my server is this

2 or 3 /home points that people can TP around to

able to claim a certain amount of chunks

able to buy and sell items in the server (not player) shop

able to buy more title deeds, allowing for more claimed chunks

able to buy more "ender pearls" allowing for more /home points

server shop only accepts X amount of a specific item every hour refresh or so, so people cant sell 99999 ingots at once

all in-game money obviously

so i need advice on finding plugins for

-a stationary villager (at spawn) that has a chest-shop GUI menu, allowing for selling items for in-game cash
-forming a party with a limited number of chunks to /claim
-buying more /claims with the in-game cash

extras include
-hostile mobs dont spawn in the protected spawn area

/rtp for a random wilderness teleport, without having the map size being infinite
