the raids spawn but end in defeat just before the first wave is defeated

Need to have the outdated build jar remain in the server directory, compile a new one with a different filename, upload it, go to Basic Settings on their frontend, set the server jar to target the new file and LEAVE THE OUTDATED JAR ALONE. Deleting it causes gportal to rollback to the older build. 💀
Im looking to change the nether in my server from an old backup of the server while still keeping the overworld, I deleted the nether folder in the current server and dragged in the backups version of the nether folder but It stayed the same and didnt change. How can I fix this?

All this time I just had to set ttl to 1h
TTL is time to live. When I initially want to go to example.com I first ask my DNS for the record. That record is then cached for the duration of TTL, so when I go to example.com subsequent times I load the record from my cache avoiding DNS lookups.
So 1h means if i go to your site now, you change the IP 5 minutes from now, I won't actually see the new change until the 1h TTL is up.

ok, so I host a server for my friends. i'm trying to get mobs to spawn from dungeon spawners but can't seem to get it to work like i used to on a previous server that i hosted years ago.
My setup:
Geyser/spigot on 1.21.5
difficulty is set to normal
spawn-npcs is true
spawn-monster is set to false
When I set spawn monster to true, hostile mobs spawn everywhere, including at my mob spawner, like they should. Setting it to false, stops all hostile mobs from spawning in the world and from spawners. Even spawn eggs stop working. According to the wiki, setting spawn monsters to false should stop monster spawning in the world but they would still spawn at spawners as long as you aren't on the peaceful difficulty.
Could geyser/spigot be overwriting a setting that I can't find mention of?
i'm assuming you mean to set the properties file option back to true (turning all mobs and monsters on) then run that line which would turn just monsters off except at spawners? do i understand that right?

Hey, I’m trying to set up Simple Voice Chat with BungeeCord. I have the Simple Voice Chat BungeeCord plugin installed on the proxy, and I set the proxy config with my correct IP and port (24454). I don't have the voice chat mod/plugin installed on the backend playable servers. The problem is that voice chat doesn't work through the proxy — clients can’t connect. However, it works fine when I just install Simple Voice Chat normally on a server without BungeeCord. Can someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

And it seems to work when I’m right next to it
But as soon as I go a little farther from the machine, it doesn’t seem to trigger anymore even though this machine is designed to work from anymore using the ender pearl chunk loader
Is there any reason why this will work on a vanilla server but not on a spigot server? I’m on 1.21.5

Does spigot handle chunk loading different than on vanilla? Because I noticed this isssue with a few other farms
I've placed ender pearl chambers around a giant bamboo farm, and whenever I come back to it after being away for a while I can see the bamboo has grown all the way to the top (because ender pearls provide random ticks now) but the farm still hasn't harvested it, meaning the redstone probably isn't ticking for some reason

When I'm 1 chunk away from it, it only seems to work under certain circumstances but I can't figure out what those are

It's probably more likely entity activation ranges, see spigot.yml. though 1 chunk is smaller than most activation
I've looked through every setting in there, not sure how any of them could help

No carpets don't render transparent
For transparenct blocks I just use a display entity with a barrier block inside it
That way you can have as many as you want with a proper collision
For carpet collision, you can make a display entity 0.01 pixels bigger than the carpet and put the carpet inside for collision

I have upgraded my 1.21 server to 1.21.5. I had datapacks installed, so i simply deleted them and installed the respective 1.21.5 datapcks for each version. i have switched them out in my world folder, however when i try to launch the server, i get this error message in my console

find out which datapack that is i guess or smth
make a backup and then delete half of the datapacks. Try to start the server, see if any errors pop up. If none the issue is in one of the ones u deleted, move the others somewhere else and put the other back.

Hey, I have a weird situation and i feel like I'm missing something obvious;
Im running a latest version spigot server with a few optimization and extra feature plugins. As of yesterday, riptiding a trident caused the a cooldown (like an enderpearl)
I haven't updated plugins in a while, I don't have anything that auto updates them, and I (to my knowledge) don't have a plugin installed that causes that cooldown, especially for it to just appear. I would apreciate any help in just knowing what is causing the issue.

Okay, I've done a lot of testing on this and I think i've identified exactly what the issue is
the machine I posted uses a very precise slime block launcher to launch an arrow at the perfect time to redirect a wind charge
I've realized that the distance that the machine works is actually not based on chunks, it's purely just a block distance value
I'm using freecam to diagnose the issue, so I can look at the machine when my player is inside and outside of the invisible range
So it turns out chunks are indeed loaded with an ender pearl nearby
But entities kind of act a little funny when outside of the invisible range. They still function, but just laggy
This is the bouncing arrow in the machine while my player is inside the range
I already told you about activation ranges days ago
And this is the arrow outside the rnage
the thing is the entity is not getting completely deactivated
the arrow is just getting laggy
which messes up the timing of the machine
and I'm wondering if there's a solution to fix this universally
because i can't just make the range infinite

It isn’t a perfect tool. I think this is the first time I’ve even heard of it being ran on a network drive.
If you run it locally on your main drive, it should work just fine.

Solved in DMs; Mandatory ASLR (Address space layout randomization) was enabled. To check: Open Windows Security and App & Browser control > Exploit protection and set Mandatory ASLR to standard (which is off, as of writing)

Hello i have a gens server is it an issue if all players on the server are in the same area ? (Our wheat field are on spawn so almost every player are on spawn and our spawn is not that big maybe like 300x300)
We're experiencing significant ping issues. When we reach around 80 to 100 players, the latency increases noticeably for everyone. Sometimes, players even time out. I suspect this is caused by the fact that most of them are concentrated in the same area.
I don't think it's a bandwidth issue since we have a 1Gbps connection from OVH, and we're using less than 10% of it.
Can someone confirm if the problem could be caused by the fact that most players are gathered in the same area?
