In this case, the matter is simple you probably have a default start script set in the spigot.yml file, to change it you go to the spigot.yml file on your server and look for the restart-script line and change it to your code in the start.bat file (assuming you are using Windows) it should work, if not write it

Do we have a simple plugin that adds /home and /spawn but also the option to have /spawn teleport you in a region around 0 0?
Minecraft has /gamerule spawnRadius x by default but I can't find a simple plugin that respects the spawn radius instead of just teleporting to a set location
I think EssentialsX has an option for it but it also adds so many other things I really don't need, I'm only looking for the homes and spawn

Vanilla minecraft already adds a gamerule that makes it so the worldspawn is in an x blocks radius around whatever you're using as a worldspawn. But no plugin respects that setting, it just makes /spawn go to 0 0 instead of in a x blocks radius
So I need a plugin that respects that, and yeah you're right, it's basically /wild but named /spawn
That has nothing to do with anything I just said, also I said I'd rather not use Essentials since it adds a lot of other things that I don't need.

Which to me looks like it's not using Java 17 (since java.lang.Record is new in 17), however the start of the BuildTools.log.txt shows it's using Java 17 and the target on the third line there indicates it's targeting Java 17 (I assume). I'm on linux, JAVA_HOME is set to 17. The system default JDK is openjdk 17. I tried bouncing back to rev 1.19 (the last version I successfully built about a year ago) and no joy so it's not a 1.20 issue.
I am out of things to hunt down. Any thoughts on other avenues to explore?

Start with the launch script, eula and spigot jar to create a blank default server, then copy the plugin folders and jars across into the new plugins folder.

most of your lag comes from iridium skyblock (up to 542% of tick) and citizens. maybe just get a better CPU for that server?
you could do a spark report to see what exactly iridium does that causes this much lag

Are you aure 1.20 is supported though? It says the newest tested version is 1.16 that's why I am asking.
Also are you sure it supports bungeecord and has a somewhat easy way to set it up for bungeecord servers if it needs to be setup a certain way?

you can execute buildtools where you want. normally you shouldn't run it in your server's directory but somewhere else, then copy over the spigot .jar

sorry if this is a little ignorant- i havent actively had a spigot server in three years but wanted to open my old one on my new computer just to look at it for fun. i transferred all the files from my old computer to my new one, but didnt mess with the port, as i completely forgot how to do that, so i just opened it in localhost. this is a 1.16.5 server btw. anyways i decided i wanted to try and make a new server so i set up the buildtools last night. when i went to recheck something in the old server i got this message. whats the easy way to fix this? do i have to download an older java or just update the server?

I installed 1.20, and it was working. Then I installed improved factions, then it started crashing, and it still is even after I removed the improved factions plugin
It's crashing now even when I start in 1.19.2
