95% of those plugins that claim to "fix" any lags, cause more lag than they promise to fix

not sure about the plugin you sent, just a general advice

and if they actually fix lag, usually they break other plugins

what is the general opinion on zgc vs g1gc? most I can find on zgc for minecraft serverside is two years or so old, and mostly about zgc not being thoroughly tested or proved for minecraft servers. assuming there is enough total cpu performance and enough ram present, are there drawbacks to using zgc over g1gc?

as alternative to PlugMan(X) you could use PlugWoman

however... I would advise to not use ANY of those "reload" plugins, they do more damage than you think

it is more performant but you will still encounter issues unless you tailor the JVM and GC using the Java flags

like stop the world GC for example is bad for you

basically it temporarily pauses the application to do some cleanup

you can use custom font characters to do some of this stuff too

you make use of the blank characters or characters not really used, and you make your own font which is just a picture really

requires a resource pack yes, but you only need it to give your custom font 🙂

so you only need to make an image to replace a font character of your choosing, typically you start with blank fonts

well the emote you are referring to actually refers to a utf character

which is also a smile but instead of using the generic font for that

they swapped it for their own image
