hi, is there any way to check what causes huge bandwidth usage?
I have a server for me and my friends, with average 2-3 players
All my friends complained that they always lag and have high ping everytime, even on first join
I figured out that my server uses a lot of bandwidth (confirmed it by using bandwidth monitor app), like 1-3 MB/s, and maybe because they don't have stable connection, packets got delayed and caused high ping
It's not always stay at 1 MB/s, only if I move between chunk (or load new chunks) then the bandwidth will spike

That is the view I stated to look at. That is the resource monitor and it tells for certain where memory is or is not being used. The other view the one you wanted to argue about is not accurate. It is useful to glance at but does not tell you exactly what is or is not free memory wise

Next time java tells you it can't allocate however many gigs. And mind you it will sometimes require more then you stated odds are don't in fact have that memory free and should look at the resource monitor

Problem was solved. I've switched from Bungee to Velocity and now bandwidth usage for 100+ players is around 10 mb/s for up and down at peak.

Hi! I have run into some troubles with plugins.

I use a VM that runs Linux to host my server. When I start the server in a command panel, it works fantastic! But when I want to run my server with tmux, it starts just fine, but plugins seem not to work or be turned on at all.
