Hi im trying to buy a pre-built PC. I have made a few designs but i don’t know if they are good. I want it to be able to run games like roblox , valorant , apex legends and just any decent triple A game on decent graphics with 1080p. Anyone got advice on pre-builts and if its worth building a pc myself? Im in the UK aswell if that helps.
#1st pre-built gaming PC my budget is 600-700 any advice?

You’d be better off getting a console.
Is it rlly tht bad?
No...your budget is the issue
What would i hve to change or add
If you could add a few extra £££ you could get a good pc for your needs. Is 700 max?
I can go over 700 but not by alot
Probally 750 max
But i wouldnt use it for high end games just light gaming
a 3050 is a very weak gpu as well. its already below min req for games released in the last 2 years
you probably want to add at the minimum £150 - 200 to your budget for a pc which can run modern games
The 3050 is a glorified office GPU and I wouldn't game on it full stop
it definitly wont run any decent triple A game on decent graphics
Alr ty for the advice ive seen loads of vids with budget builds having 3050-3060 for games like valo and fortnite just wanted to know
3060 is way way better than a 3050
yeah dont think they are being made anymore
Damn
Don't go for any of the xx50 cards
In any generation?
yeah looking at the 5050 is only a tiny bit cheaper than the 5060
Also i wasnt clear but i wouldnt be playing any new games like BF6 new call of duties etc
heck for £199 more than your budget if this comes back in stock at currys it would be way better than the build you posted
plus the build you posted had 512gb solo ssd
most of that ssd would get taken up by windows
67.1gb on my drive and thats just the windows folder
theres probably other folders which are also installed with windows that would also increase in size
so id be willing to guess its more like 75gb +
So is it basically not possible to get a 600-700 pre-built thats decent
yeah your definitly looking at a bit more
that 899 build is honistly the lowest id reccomend as a entry build
Oh alr
Ty i appreciate it
Also how do i know if its able to be upgraded in the future
You can configure a custom pc from here but buy the gpu seperately (its easy to install with videos) i can give u an example of the custom build

upgradeablity is based around motherboard and psu really
- a 5060 online will bring the total to £800
will be able to run pretty much any game u want
no like u dont need to buy used
I know i mean like if i wanted to make it cheaper for example
yeah i mean if u can find trusted sellers

if you want upgradeability then you would have to go am5
well its not fully dead but there wont be any future upgrades cpu wise
But you could still find better cpu/gpus with an am4 just not anything new
the best thing you could get is a 5800x3d but those are not being made anymore
Not the point though
You asked regarding upgradability. And AM4 will be VERY limited
and well buying one used right now costs more than a am5 cpu

if you get the 5060 from elsewhere that build would do
cheapest 5060 seems to be £249
thats a nice build
Yh probally the best option
512 TB?? HOLY
😆 yeah put the wrong letter there
😉
I would just suggest getting an xbox and a keyboard and mouse as u can play pc games using gforce now and u still get the perks of an xbox
Not a bad shout to be honest. Or just get a PS5 Pro / XSX
Or ideally, save up a bit more and get that dream build you want 🙂
