Went ahead a placed the order last night, leaving the graphics card out of it with the intention to transfer the RTX 4080 16GB SUPRIM X I already have into the new system. Now im wondering if I should have went all in ....

at this time AMD is king for gaming and streaming, the intel line ups have been squibs generally, between the CPUs just being underwhelming, and upgrade options being non existent for the core line up as Intel seems to be using yet another socket for the next set of CPUs

AMD is seen as "better" than Intel atm and if you for an Am5 system amd has "promised" compatability until 2027 (iirc) so you'd be future proofing your system

in the mean time I'd recommend that system, though I'd not use the 4080 got 4k gaming

Thanks, i was just looking at options but wasn't able to remove the graphics card, will have a look. With the windows license there wasnt much difference in it and its what i currently have

if you are able to transfer the licence then you can leave it out entirely

it doesn't show what warranty you put the general consensus is to at least go for silver, the cost increase is marginal compared to the overall specs of your pc but it will be recouped if you do need to return

if you already have a pc, you can also drop the ssd/ram and transfer what you already have

Mobo: Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon

So all dated stuff that needs a refresh, the SSDs ill be keeping, but owrth having more

I'd normally recommend 6000MHz RAM, but thanks to the AI-pocalypse, RAM is just too damn expensive and began rivaling GPUs in price

the Corsair cooler already comes with a premium paste applied from the factory, it's about on par with the X45 paste, so you are just amking the tech scrape the paste, and apply new paste, while burning money
