I'll cut to the chase, cancel the order and put a new order in for an AMD based PC
Honestly, canāt recommend intel at all this generation, I think youāll really regret that cpu, also no availability to upgrade in the future Iād highly recommend going AMD 7800x3d or 9800x3d.
Drop the expensive lcd cooler and put the money into a compoent that will actually make a difference to your performance
Also when you go AM5 (AMD) select 6000mhz as thatās the sweet spot for AMD
For half the price of the Corsair LCD you should get the Arctic LF III, would out perform the corsair models to boot
Anyway, maybe state your budget and we we can spec something for you that would be better than your current order
Honestly youāll regret intel, I have the 13700KF and canāt wait to jump ship nothing but problems, has got better with a bios update(s) but again no scope to upgrade in the future and AMD is on fire atm with their CPUs but itās your decision and budget.
I paid 2688, i wouldnāt be going above that
Ok and that's to š®šŖ , right?
Yep
Buachaill maith
Thanks very much btw, Iām completely lost with configs, I know about components but not how to piece them together

Ok so I kept the 9070XT GPU, could go with a 5070 for a similar price. The Arctic cooler is out of stock currently so I put the FF360 as a place holder, so add ~ā¬40 for the Arctic, which is a great cooler..
I removed the expensive case, switched to AM5, good mid tier motherboard, good RAM, two SSDs, one for windows, one for games, and added the Silver warranty
So pretty much same price as what your current order was, but a far better build imo
And just as a learning thing, Iām trying to research why amd over intel or just get general knowledge before a PC arrives, what makes it better and makes intel a general no go for youās as a processor outside of no upgrade room in future
It outperforms Intel is the headline. And the motherboard you buy for a 14th gen Intel CPU is not capable of supporting any newer Intel chips, so if you decide you want to upgrade in the future, you can't. In the meantime the AM5 motherboard will be supported for a few more years yet
Thanks for that, feels good to be given good solid information over what google has told me is āitās just better okā š
Just look at any CPU best selling charts and you'll see AMD dominates
definitly agree with the others here. AMD is just way better perforamnce and it also runs cooler and also wants less power than intel
Thanks everyone
yep,was a intel fan before i realized how bad the new ultra series is,only 8 Performance cores on the flagship?!
Amd is wayy better for performance per dollar, overall performance and future proofing as AM5 will be supported for a long time i think.
