2nd best gaming cpu which is important at 1080p and the new 9070 amd gpu . so you can use amds upgraded upscaler,

#

nvidia option would be the 5070/4060ti however both perform worse than the 9070

also wondering about liquid cooling, do i need to do anything to like maintain it since its liquid or how does that work

AIO...no maintenance required other than your normal PC cleaning
Full custom loop...different story

intel cpus are worse than amds for gaming performance. for 14th gen intel cpus theres no upgrade paths avaliable. so if you needed to upgrade the cpu you would have to get a whole new motherboard as well as a new cpu

#

whilst amds current platform (am5) is supported until at least 2027

#

at 1080p you want the strongest cpu possible since that would be the more limiting factor for performance. at 1440p and higher the gpu would be the more limiting factor for performance

heres how the amd gpu runs compared to nvidia

#

and heres how they run with raytracing

#

cyberpunk and wukong are the worst cases for raytacing since they are the most heavy users of rt

you could save about ÂŁ400 by going with the Intel B580 GPU. Good performer at 1080p and has 12 GB RAM. The 9070 AMD card is arguably more geared towards 1440p imo and prices are a bit insane also

#

kinda depends what sort of games you want to play, what level of graphics settings you care about and how much fps you want tho
