14" laptops universally are pretty weak as far as processing power, no dedicated graphics, so it's all CPU all the time, and with the size, it's also going to be limited

as for differences, Intel has more cores, so has an edge on productivity, AMD runs cooler are the main differences

the core differences will affect battery life, with intels higher core counts, and the intel machine having a smaller battery, you'll be running to a charger much faster
