To be honest unless you have one of the more powerful GPU's and a really low CPU chances are you wouldnt notice anything anyway, ie its be perfectly fine

@native warren btw, you don't have to buy a windows licence from PCS, if you can get one cheaper elsewhere go for it, so have a look around, or see if you can lift the licence from the old PC means you could get a better PC then

Windows that cheap is likley a dodgy version or one that wasnt legally attained at some point (doesnt mean you got it illegally - but at some point along the chain someone got royally ripped off/done over or licensing terms were very much broken)

Sometimes you can get it slightly cheaper ie. on sale from licensed resellers (eg currys, the MicrosoftStore on Amazon etc (ie not random dudes))

A legit license for a piece of software that makes your whole system work and lets you play games etc....100% worth it

Obviously noting that if you get it from PCS it will be fully installed and whilst you will have to do some windows updates it shouldnt take too long to get set up, whereas if you buy it separately it'd best to do a clean install as PCS will install a test/trail/unlicensed version on your machine if you order without an OS but a clean install would be better
