Sure
Hi there.
I made a thread a while back about getting a PC as I was aiming to get it at the end of this year but circumstances have changed and I'll have the money much sooner.
The start of April I will be purchasing.
So I don't have a monitor and I'm looking to get one. I'm thinking of maybe getting an UltraWide instead of getting 3 monitors - one of these specifically > https://www.amazon.de/ASUS-ROG-Swift-OLED-PG49WCD/dp/B0CMQK3QB8
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Samsung-Odyssey-Monitor-Response-Speakers/dp/B0C572XWM6
The budget is 6500 euro so the monitor would also be included in that.
I'll be playing GTA 5/FIFA/COD/CSGO/Fortnite etc.
I want a beast of a PC of course and to use all of my budget.
I'd prefer an AMD build as I've heard they are much better nowadays.
I'd like the Windows 11 to be on a SAMSUNG 990 PRO SERIES 2TB + SAMSUNG 990 PRO SERIES 4TB for my games/pictures/videos etc.
I'd also like 6000MHz RAM
I'll be streaming/video editing/photoshop/daily use/watching movies/youtube/etc.
Also the 2.5GB ethernet port.
Please make the configuration on the Ireland website also.
Thanks in advance.

With the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 Curved Gaming Monitor G95SC, you can immerse yourself in a completely new gaming experience thanks to a resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels in 32:9 format. Its QD OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time ensures that you can always keep your up...
Here’s the build that someone made me so I’d like another opinion on it.

what country are you buying from? I can see a few things I would tweak from the above suggestion 🙂
Ireland
from what I've seen the suggested builds on the forum are solid, one change I'd make is that you should go for the link AIO since you added additional link fans, just to keep them all on the same hub
as they said, if the editing is just a hobby and not important, the 7800X3D is the best option, but if you do want it to be gaming focused, but good on productivity like editing, the 7950X3D is a solid option for that, costs a penny more though
nvm, I just saw it was a link AIO, so ignore my blindness there
Similar to the build suggested above - I've gone with this setup:
- ROG STRIX motherboard instead of the Pro-Art. Unnecessary extra money imho.
- 6400Hz RAM instead of the 6000Hz as AMD likes fast RAM.
- 2TB 990 drive + 4TB Corsair drive
- 1000W PSU instead of 1200W. The 4090 has a minimum of 850W so 1000W is plenty.
- Chose the 5000D case for good airflow but the 5000T (which I have) is also fine if you want to spend the extra 🙂

Np, thanks for the suggestions.
And I agree with DrLeft above. If you want some focus on the editing then I'd be tempted to lean to the 7950X (not X3D)
Thank you, I’ll have a look at this.
Interesting, I’ll take this into account.
Which of the monitors I sent in above would you think I should go with?
Or if anybody would like to say which one I should pick all opinions are welcome.
I'm not too au fait with a wide range of monitors so I'd just recommend reading reviews at rtings.com 🙂
