27inch I'd assume?
yup
I was thinking of downgrading to 24inch on my current setup, the two 27's I have currently cover the whole desk space
24 inch 1080p?
Yeah, definitely. But holding a high hz rate
what would you suggest under 240?
whats ur budget
ok i found a good one
do share :)

Pretty nice, wanted to stick with ASUS range though
one I was looking at was the VG249QM1A
i found a 280hz dell monitor 24 inch for £170
IPS panel and gsync
perfect if u ask me
Pretty stuck with ASUS, I'll be honest. How about the ASUS VG249Q3A?
ill take a look
I would go for the gigabyte m27q
he wants a 24 inch monitor
yeah, 24 inch preferably
ooh
Appreciate all your help 🤞
its more expensive than both i mentioned, and it isnt gsyn compatible either
and lower hertz
paying more for less
is it okay, yes
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised
well, lets think about £220-£250 per monitor, will need two of them for my work
so, if you can meet that range that's fine
24 inch yes?
if needed to go above 24, I don't mind
the msi one actually was one of the ones I was looking at first tbh
defo a great monitor
great colours
most of my friends grabbed it on sale and are super happy with it
with a 27% off, it's a pretty good steal i can't lie
exactly
hmmmm... very stuck on ideas here
my current are so bad 😭, need to switch up when the pc comes
how about this one?
anyone else got any suggestions?
think i'll go with this one, appreciate your help
only thing that puts me off is the DP cables
never used them
this should support dp cables right?
All it is is a newer connection that HDMI, but has been around now for a while now anyway
Yep, its tells you it will 🙂 - the 4070ti I'd expect to have 3 DP ports
Though note, if youre ordering a Corsair cooler you do not need the extra thermal paste, Corsair include decent paste pre-applied to their coolers anyways, also I'd proabbly want a better cooler than that one youve picked for that CPU (or do you already have the PC?)
Yep 14700k at least need a 280mm, I'd chose 360mm (H150i)
Doubt it’d be a problem though right? I thought this too, but when asking for advice with an agent, they suggested not to
What agent?
Are you planning to do some render stuffs too with that?
I have 14700k, when I use cpu for rendering in blender it goes up to 80c-90c even with 360mm.
Not necessarily, I only do development work
I actually couldn’t tell you, not entirely sure which one
Sorry, forgot to mention. I actually haven't received the pc yet, still in quality testing. I wasn't made aware of this in my conversation with the agent, surely it's not a problem I purchased the additional paste?
