it seems the config added a bracket and wifi card for some reason, but you can save a pretty penny by using a Tuf X670E montherboard instead, the one you chose is ghoulish overkill
the upgraded paste isn't needed as the cooler you chose comes with an upgraded thermal compound pre-applied
the sound card isn't needed as the motherboard has a sound card on board that is better than what most folks need

I'd recommend this, dropped the overkill motherboard, MX-4 and added a small but fast M.2 for the OS, that'll keep the PC fast
left the soundcard in incase you have a specific need for it, if you don't know what the soundcard is for, drop it to save a chunk of change
I'd also drop the LED strips as they tend to look cheap, you just have individual lights with nothing to soften the glow on them
The M.2 is supposed to be this one:
4TB CORSAIR MP600 PRO NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (up to 7000 MB/R, 6850 MB/W)
And I was thinking of having the OS and some frequently used applications on there.
The sound card was mostly for the control box, since I switch between headphones and speakers depending on what I'm doing and the control box seems to be good for that.
Why the change in motherboard from Strix X670E to Tuf X670E?
the strix is for overclocking enthusiasts, overclocking voids your warranty, and OC'ing also does very little these days anyway
and regarding the switching between headphones and speakers, unless you plan on using a high end surround system, the onboard outputs are morethan enough
it might also interfere with the airflow on the 4090, so it might not be doing you any favors
I also tend to hop from my soundbard to my headset at a moments notice, and have no issues with it
How do you have them connected? I have my speakers plugged in at the back, and only plug my headphones into the front when I want to use them.
are they both USB, 3.5mm jacks or one of each
Most decent speakers use the audio ports I would have thought
Both are 3.5mm.
you might be able to use the front and rear connectors
still, unless you need the sound card for a surround sound it might not be wise to include one
But, why the change in motherboard from Strix X670E to Tuf X670E? And does the OS need to be on a separate drive?

As DrLeft said the Strix is mostly for overclockers, otherwise you just do not need it and woudl in essence be a waste of money
Its always best to have the OS on a smaller drive on its own
as for the OS, it doesn't strictly need to be on one, but as the drive an OS is on gets more and more full, the entire system slows down
so it's best practive to allow windows to be fat on it's own drive, and have games and whatnot on another
unless you want the strix for looks, which I wouldn't the silver/white is likely going to clash with the rest being black/grey
Is it worth having the 4tb M.2 or would I be better of just going for an 8tb SSD?
