@pulsar moss can we have the message back? assume it was a config link 🤔
Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a gaming PC I have a budget of £2,000. I've had a look through the posts on this channel and did some basic research but it's been a long time since I've kept up-to-date on gaming hardware so looking for feedback and advice where possible on how I can improve the build before purchase.
I'm wanting to purchase something that will last some time with room to upgrade in the future where possible.
I've currently come up with the following build: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am5-pc/UZa6RecjM4/
PCSpecialist is an award-winning manufacturer of high quality custom PCs & Laptops. Configure the AMD Am5 PC to your ideal requirements.
I also currently use a Samsung 34J791 34" monitor which runs at 1440p so appreciate any feedback.
Thanks!
1440p 100hz?
Yes 3440x1440, 100Hz, Freesync
Honestly looks really solid. Only thing I'd actively change is the case, not personally a fan of the Spectrum TG. If you went with the Corsair 4000D, the cooler you've picked would go really lovely in there
Thanks, most of the build was reviewing the spec's done for previous people on the channel over the last few days and taking an educated guess. I'll switch the case.
Is it worth looking at extra fans for airflow?
Should be fine, case comes with 2, AIO adds 3, you'd only fit 1 more fan in there
Thanks for taking the time reply. Appreciated! Will look to order soon.
Just having a play- If you're happy to go over the budget a bit, then could go for something like this- 7700 is still a fantastic CPU and the 7900XT is a fair chunk faster than the 7800XT
