@slow dragon , i wasn’t sure how to reopen my other thread but the only things i changed was, i kept my original case option because i’m in love with this case and i changed all the components into the lunar section (white)

i couldn’t find the original motherboard in the lunar section though, so what do you think about this motherboard?

Are you fully set on the LCD cooler and the 4 x AF120 fans etc. ?

I'd just be tempted to take the next motherboard up to maximise the power out of that 7800X3D and give you a bit more upgradability

Things like, it has 3 x m.2 slots if you wanted to put another one in there in future.. whereas the B650 has 2, so you won't have any spare

If you're not worried about the fancy LCD part on it, then I'd drop it down to the Capellix which will cool the CPU just as well and take the higher end motherboard 🙂

hyte sells that corner lcd screen for the hyte y60, one of my friends has given me one for free

i was wondering, would it have much effect on performance of the pc? (i’m not quite sure how it works) because if so, i’d rather pass it back to him as i’m not too worried about having it in the pc

the hyte y60 has that corner glass panel, it’s a lcd screen that fits there and plugs into the gpu i believe

yeah it’s like £150 i believe? i was really thankful to get it for free but was just curious about if it would effect performance or whatnot

that’s really cool! maybe i’d be able to put discord chat on it haha (if i decide to install it)

You'll just think of this as an additional monitor. It connects to a HDMI source. The resolution of this LCD panel is vertical 515x1920, and you can put whatever you want on it, just by moving the application window across to it.
Power usage is minimal and taken from the PSU, system performance is affected as much as any second display screen might add loading on the GPU will depend on what you display on it and thermal dissipation inside of the case is slightly increased.
