I will be using the Pc for 1 Monitor sim racing not too heavy few games like gta valorant and then Software development/website development and graphic designing here and there. I asked few people and they have said its a overkill please let me know if it is because then I could save money and drop the specs a bit.

Honestly 16GB RAM is the minimum I would be recommending if you're going to venture into graphic design so that's definitely not overkill. Adobe software is fairly resource hungry.

Also you really wanta small fast drive (500GB woudl be enough) for your OS and then other drives for other stuff

Optimising things a bit - this would be my suggestion. I'll let Junior have a full overhaul and give his 2p worth though 🙂

  • Switched the case out to save a bit of money but includes the extra rgb fan you wanted
  • Upped to 32GB RAM
  • Upped to TUF Motherboard
  • 1 x m.2 drive for windows + 2nd m.2 drive for your games/programs
  • Swapped the CPU cooler to a high end air cooler to save money but improve cooling
  • Added the silver warranty in

Oh it's not a bad cooler by any means.. the DeepCool fan one will just likely do a better job for less money

or equally good job at least.. they're both rated at 250W

They tested it with a 13900k which will push it quite a bit more than a 13700k

it'll run the snot out of the 1080 at least, I know someone using a 3090 of a 720p monitor right now, not by choice to be fair, someone stole his monitor

The TUF motherboard will allow you to get the most performance out of the 13700k and allows for additional expansion (3 x m.2 slots whereas the Prime only has 2 for example) - it's not just about the wifi 🙂
