Hello all, hoping for some help in regards to a gaming (with the potential of streaming) PC build between the budget in the title. Under or slightly over said budget is alright if it helps the performance/future-proofing of the PC.

I'm not very tech savvy so when it comes to creating this sort of thing, I really have no idea what is best. I just want to double-check; wifi capabilities does come with the motherboard right?

I would prefer to have Intel over AMD for the CPU but not too fussed, just basing that off of what I'm used to/seen online. Nvidia for the GPU but same as before, not fussed, just basing off what I said.

I did do this build, would this be any good?:

Or if you guys have any idea on a better build, PLEASE I would very much appreciate it!!

No peripherals are needed.

What display will you be using?

Would get a 6950xt over the 4070 if i were you but if you have money and are willing to pay the Nvidia tax the 4070 isn't all that bad, the 4070ti and above desperately needs a price cut thou

The faster RAM would be essential, I ended up going the self build route with 6000MHz RAM

#

The 7800x3d is a very good gaming processor, trading blows with the 13900k in some gaming benchmarks but you do lose out on some raw performance

Yeah, sadly the DDR5-6000 2x16GB kit is out of stock right now

:(

#

5600 is probably a minimum as Ryzen processors synergise very well with fast RAM

#

6000-6400 is the sweet spot

#

I have a R5 7600 and RX 6800 and that does very well

#

If you want to futureproof get a B650E or X670E as that has a PCIe 5.0 graphics slot

#

Even thou PCIe 5.0 SSDs and GPUs are still in their infancy

When you say display- do you mean monitor or the resolution I will be playing games in?
For monitor, it's undecided, haven't got one yet as I currently only have a laptop. I will obviously get one, but I didn't want to make the post overly complicated by specifying that I also have a budget for peripherals I thought it would just be best to ask about the PC build for the moment. So, if you have any suggestions for a monitor, that is greatly appreciated.
But, if you meant resolution, the best possible I could get with my budget?

I mean, what monitor

#

(Technically it could also be a TV or, if you're really weird, a projector, so "display" is the more generic term!)

#

The key thing is to get a PC and a monitor that are a good match so you get value for money

Maybe give a name of what you're thinking of rather than a link!

I honestly know next to nothing about computers. so when it comes to the specifics on stuff I'm a bit clueless. i had been looking at the ASUS VZ279HE 27 Inch Monitor, FHD (1920 x 1080) as I've seen some good reviews on it. The build I linked was just a me messing with settings and picking brand names id heard of before so if you'd suggest something built completely different that is fine.

So you definitely don't want to get that display. You can afford way better than 1080p.

yeah lol didnt realise coulndt post links so was trying to just remember what id typed

Spend something like £330 on a good 1440p display and you'll have a much better experience

#

The build I linked above would do an awesome job at that

ok thank you for your help/ feedback
