Just wanted some opinions on some parts. Budget is sitting around £850

hi , im looking at Nvidia 3050 and Ryzen 3600x. Will that be good for running any game ( from god of war to csgo )

just want to make sure i could run high end games at good fps with no problems

No offense but, nobody in their right mind here will recommend a 3050
You might want to look at a 6600

If you can stretch your budget just a little bit more I'd go for something like this

Now, if you already have an existing desktop or laptop, then you could drop Windows from the config and use the already existing license saving some cash on the above config
If you don't need WiFi, then you can also drop the WiFi card and save a few bucks

But at least the above spec gets you into a better territory generation wise and a lot more bang for your buck

Just wondering. Can you store games etc on a hard drive? i just didnt know why a 2tb hard drive is so much cheaper than a 2tb SSD or m.2

if they do the same job. Although i know you need both

So i could get a 2tb hard drive and only 240 ssd and i can store all my games from steam in a hard drive?

Yep, though for games with not a lot of loading involved you probably wouldnt even notice

It sure does, the 3050 is slower than the 2060, it's basically a 1660TI. The fact it's an RTX is a joke 😂

haha, as a person who is getting into pcs so i know my stuff when i get one, RTX always seems so much better on the box idk why but when u look into it its not the case

Yeah, I feel like ray tracing is a massive selling point for people but when people actually get it, they test it out once, go "this is cool" then never use it again 😂 I've got a 3070, never used Ray tracing once

I've looked at those types of videos. That one you've just sent is for the 12GB 3060 which definitely is better. I find with those videos for the 8Gb 3060 and the 8gb 6600 that some games are better on each card

It seems to depend on game to see which ones better

I found somewhere where the price is the same for a 6600 and a 3060 8GB. Probably a scam hence I'm curious. 12GB 3060 only another £15
