Firstly, lets define “giant reptile”
To me, a large reptile is any snake longer than 6 feet on average, and for lizards anything over 2-3 feet on average.
With my terms defined, I would say snake wise, probably boas or other similar species (not a snake guy ngl)
Lizard wise, probably a tegu because of the wide variety of diet options.
Honestly, giant animals are not really beginner animals but if you’re just getting into some larger stuff, definitely do your research
