#Taking bets on this juvenile sex!

That's what I'm thinking too! I'd say I'm fairly good at sexing, except when I encounter females! They always make me doubt haha. At this size, I guess we should be able to see pores or something
What's making me unsure too is that the second oldest also looks female?? I only have a bad picture of it but I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out with a light and a magnifying glass haha
Maybe get a loupe?
Oh I do have one, but there isn't much more to see.. I spent a lot of time with a light in my mouth an a loupe in the other hand squinting and scratching my head lmao!
Ah darn😭
I'll see if one of the youngers has anything to show me later, but they're quite smaller so I doubt it'll help 😂
Pretty sure it's that difficult because they are actual females 🤔
Can’t comment directly on sexing as I don’t know much about viper geckos just figured I’d throw the loupe suggestion out there
I use one for working on fountain pen restorations
/nib work
Does it magnify well? I should def get myself a better loupe
I’ll be honest my current one is…not great
An upgrade is actually at the top of my Christmas list to myself
Do you you have any suggestions? 👀 I could add one to my own list too haha
Still reading reviews and stuff but leaning towards the 10x belomo triplet
what magnification you need?
A lot 😂
x10 sounds familiar, and wanting to get into cresties and other Caledonian in the futur, x10 sounds quite standard?
There’s no real standard except for a given hobby
For pens it’s def 10
And a nib is about the size of Bertie’s cresticles so that seems right
Also maybe looking at a digital
Could be good for your application
Connects to a laptop/desktop
That could indeed be an interesting option!
Female
What are loupes? 😂
Magnifying glass!
Third bebe, this one is a bit too small, but..... I'm starting to think my incubation temps is on the low side, they all seem females ??????
Awesome, I need something like that ahahH
Noooo proper loupe is different
Way higher magnification
And less aberration
English isn't my first language but.. magnifying glass in french is loupe, and a loupe is also a loupe 😂
