Please revert the animal herd behavior :( I want to keep using catch & release!

I can't even get an answer on how the shuffles worked before, never mind comprehend how it works now. 😞

IKR they removed the pattern and my tiny mind can't keep up 😭 I can't figure out when the herd will shuffle and it's such a trouble cz now I have to visit it every single day )O)

It's the same like before they change the regeneration as long as you have the required number of variant (4 variant for rare 6 variant for legendary) and have tame enough amount (8 for rare and 12 for legendary) then they will spawn based on luck

releasing animal will only wipe the current animal but the spawn animal still based on your luck that's why the release method sometimes doesn't work

But now they change it so the regeneration rate is better meaning the rare and legendary will spawn more often than before so you don't need to release anymore since the previous animals will despawn anyway

I have not done anything else than taming the right amount of animals and then check repeatedly, even before the update where there is a better spawn rate for rare and legendary, I've gotten several of them and getting closer to get them all. (boars -completed, ostriches missing one more rare and the legendary, ibex only missing the legendary, horses all special colors missing, guanaco only the legendary missing, bison one more rare and then legendary, and jungle fowl I am ignoring for now ^^)

and if any of the special colors spawns in one animal population none will spawn in others, or so I read here on discord at some point. 🙂 so max one per day?

Only thing I've noticed is tamed & attuned animals are no longer priority and shuffle out at a higher rate than ones that aren't attuned. So I've lost several animals I've been trying to keep, and the ones I don't want stay

Ok that is interesting, are they checking every day? The way I understood it was that they wouldn't spawn on the same day, but on the next day a special color could spawn even if another herd has a special color. So not that they couldn't exist at the same time, but only wouldn't spawn on the same day, but again, it's only something I read on the discord.

not sure about the details but multiple ppl already said that they see multiple rare colors on one day, since they are aiming to get those colors I assume that they check daily

That's so weird D: It's supposed to be easier then, but I don't get any legendary animals after the update.. I used to easily find them before the update >:o OR maybe I just have bad luck idk

are you sure you have all of the requirements if you do then yeah maybe its just bad luck cause even with the old release method I only able to find 1 rare even after releasing my animals 4 times so I also have bad luck lol

I have had no luck lately either, there was a time where I got a lot of them and now: none, and I have the requirements reached... so looks like there might be periods of both good and bad luck maybe?
