now to be fair i shouldent really be in inferno anymore.
iv been playing from it come came out and am powered up.
with the feats beeing broken for so long has forced every experienced player into inferno. and its ment for the entry player.
NEW PLAYERS arent learning how to play. or do boss mechs
they just get carried, then go to purg and just die
please dont make purg easyer if anything make it harder and take away the blind spots on big AOE on failed mechanic check.
so that u have to do the fight.

now another thing with lucifer, i will use my staff.
and just stand there and shoot.
he does so little dmg to higher lvl peeps that we dont even need to move.
and that makes me wonder why sword is in the game.... no dmg waste of a class.
make boss do more dmg. let sword counter take dmg for close allies so that the sword has some kind of utility

I've said this in a few threads, but the barrier for entry to Purgatorio needs to be higher. You should have to be, at a minimum, Feat Lvl 7 (3 perk slots) to enter and only get keys from defeating Lucifer (it's crazy to me how you get keys from removing health bars and still get them even if you don't end up defeating lucifer).

because you can only get keys by killing lucifer, eventually if enough of the lobby are a certain level the mobs should globally scale up

These threads don’t make sense to me all.

You used to be a noob.
You levelled up and got stronger (the entire purpose of a rougelike) so because you’re not struggling, let’s make Lucifer impossible for new players to beat unless they get the hard carry?

If players need to be better before they reach purg, making lucifer harder won’t achieve this - better onboarding and tutorials will, along with watching more experienced players.

Alternatively wait for private lobbies and the ordeal system, which will be difficulty modifiers, to release in the summer update.

You can’t progress in a game and then insist the early content is too easy.

I do agree that lucifer probably hands out keys too quickly and perhaps you should only start to earn these when you first defeat him. But many (as you’ve mentioned) struggle with purgatory and A+E and a harder lucifer won’t do much to remind players to slow down and level up at dust totems.

If anything, ban more experienced players from farming lucifer.
