Hey guys I’m having a pretty hard time combining Mixamo animations. All the tutorials I have watched are simple and easy to follow but I think I am missing something because when I combine them the meshes are not in the same location and moving one moves them both. Anybody have advice?

Are you trying to copy/paste the keyframes from the new animations, into the same character/rig? It sounds like it could be something with the parenting or missing armature declared; usually when i move part of the character and it distorts, i usually find its something related to those 2 things

ya know the other thing you could consider doing is bringing in each animation as a new character, keyframing hiding and un-hiding them and use different cameras that cut to different animations when you switch (which yes you may end up having 3-4 characters of diff animation but you dont have to deal with adjusting the mixamo keyframes as much)

Hmmm, i wonder if something isnt lining up between the different animation keyframe sets that are all being copy/pasted into the same rig; like moving from one to the other is causing some unwanted distortion; i havent tried using Actions before, but after watching this video below, it looks like this could be helpful (its linked to the start time of combining animations); you may have tried this tutorial already as this one does run through that Actions process using the nonlinear animation editor (which i have not used before)

no problem, sorry it took me so long to get back to you; happy to help keep trouble shooting as ill be curious to know the soltuon as well; when i was making an animation with multiple mixamo animations, i just used multiple rigs and cameras that would cut to the different animations and cameras as needed to switch; but this NLA editor looks so much easier to deal with

Hey guys I am working on a bunch of renders for the Utah meetup and for some reason Clonetools is only importing the lights and no clone on a few of them. anybody have this happen?

I have tried on my PC and Mac with different versions of clone tools so it must have something to do with the files. @white lichen can you help me out with this?

Hmm this commonly happens when the files have some sort of issues with the naming, cud u screenshot the folder with the clone files in em for us to troubleshoot?

I tried opening zip folder and unzipped folders in clonetools as well. Same issue on both.

Been struggling for days with prompts in Dall-E and Novel. Perhaps someone can help me out?

Problem: I want to make a logo system / variations based on the original shape. Example: the Juventus logomark. (But in different colors and photo realistic textures: rock, skin, water etc) m. Dall-E doesn’t take the uploaded image in account at all. Novel stays true to the intended shape but does a lousy job with the render and colors. What am I doing wrong? Any pointers are welcome!

i typically do the base layer on platform on choice then use AI to gen the textures i.e. blender/photoshop to make the shape/layers, then texture overlays

gm creators. I have been doing more renders lately, but hate the fact that my clone is wearing a fur coat with no shirt. I have the 3d files for my robot that had the clonex tshirt, so I guess I could import those onto my clone and change out the logo, but as far as getting other 3d files, I only found the animus egg. Is there a place to get any of the 3d files for the other assets we own? Preferably the Nike Dunks.

With tutorials like this I'm more motivated to put together some notes on optimizing CloneX VRM 😄
Have gotten mine to 1.8 MB / single draw call

itd be cool if we had NFTs / badges ppl can earn after completing some stuff with their clonex:

• make a blender render with your clone
• create an animation with your clone
• convert a clonex to VRM
• optimize your clone
  etc..

We could setup Dework for this, even gamify it a bit

• token gate with RTFKT NFT
• featured roles (can even be from discord) can assign themselves tasks
• setup dework tasks with multiple submissions with NFT bounty
• NFT unlocks ability to apply for other 'quests'

Introduction

• We are in the process of building the creator website in phases, currently working on Phase 1.
  We will launch an early build of the new website soon.
• Core objective is to showcase all creators and their works.
  For now, we’ll have 3 main pillars: Explore, Learn & Build.
• We wish to organize and showcase tutorials coming from the team and from the community on the website, if you have created any tutorials/workshops that you wish to feature, please reach out to us.
• We’re considering including patch notes on our website to help keep track of changes for Clone Tools and other feedback we receive.
• We are in the beta phase for the website, and your feedback is really important to us.

Yeah render just the ghost on it's own on eevee with a transparent background. Then render the clone with cycles without the ghost. Then blend the two images with photoshop @lone salmon

exactly! and to get the glowing effect, casting light on the face of the clone and stuff, make sure to make the ghost emissive in the cycles render (gonna look weird but you'll be combining it with the Eevee render later)

In the near future, the SZN 1 collection will also be available in real life. I am really looking forward to that. I am a photographer by profession and that was also a reason why I joined clonex with all its possibilities to show people how the future can look like.

I have ordered a lot of stuff for my clone and I am also asking myself for the future if there is a possibility to send a kind of press kit to some creator to create creative work with it? With each
Drop a whole outfit to buy is really very expensive. I'm not interested in getting stuff for free, but just getting creative with the stuff. We could also send the stuff from creator to creator. Maybe there are suitable ideas. I would be happy if we could find a way!

oh you're using clone tools- if you just need it fixed you can append (import) the traits in manually

I haven't used clone tools enough to be able to troubleshoot

At the last talk with @remote plank , he talked about a website to reference and display all the creations created by the community with also a way to find the tutorials easily!

I'm a developer and last night I took a few hours to work on a first MVP because I was feeling super hot to do it!

Here is a small demo of what I was able to achieve in a few hours, many features will be added in the future I have lots of ideas, I'm inspired as ever aha

Don't hesitate to give me your feedback, I think I'll make a version available to everyone in a few days so you can test the site and post your creations!

thank you for the feedback. By press kit I mean for example the SZN1 clothes. For a shoot it would be cool to shoot a complete outfit. When Nike releases a new shoe, I get a whole outfit for man and woman to do individual advertising with it as a retailer. I don't know what would be the perfect solution for that yet, because I also don't know what the capacities at RTFKT look like.
Maybe you can think of something and plan a few packages for the community to get creative with it and then send it back to RTFKT so as not to take advantage of it.

I've used my Clone through my music in many ways but haven't dropped project project yet related to NFTs with my clone, but done multiple shows and events as my clone like you saw already, my song i used the artwork with my clone has 45K Streams on SoundClound in 1 Month (https://soundcloud.com/tropixremixes/loveagain) but not tied to NFTs. I have general renders and such as you know with my clone. Like finding ways to highlight our musicians who haven't done the project stuff tied in fully yet but still making a huge impact. Like even what's coming next week during the community event in NYC and merge of working with oncyber and hyperfy to put together a never before done experience
Moreso just finding a way to highlights all musicians in our RTFKT space someway shape or form is where im getting at.

I have no issue separating objects.. problem is that the actual pieces of the wings are not really grouped, it's just thousands of loose floating geometry. would be a pretty huge task to manually group everything up

Still struggling with getting Clone files opened

i'm using Blender 3.2, have the latest versino of clone tools and clone converter, and have the .zip files as downloaded

But for some reason the scene only opens with the light catcher with no clone to be found
