i believe the reason for that is some of the vials exist on the "old vial contract", there was a major update pushed to the vial smart contract, but the vials have to be manually updated to the new contract by the end user

once you get your vial, and go to MNLTH . RTFKT . COM , if your vial happens to exist on the "old contract" the site will prompt you to update / port them to the new contract version

It's entirely speculation on my part. But I expect there will be a dunk forge 2 in which vials access new colorways in a new physical dunk offering.

So go with vial collecting if you want to potentially access such physicals in the future.
