If you get a vial on or past that date it can’t claim an egg (the clone once minted)

So if your going for just rare clone x rolls you may want to wait or just put bids on rare traits

my take after sleeping on it: People want the rarest for ego, but the easiest play is probably just having eggs

in term of upside if you think animus is the future, you better buy 3-4eggs than trying to buy all equipment to have 1egg+clone+pod or whatever

the rarity system is just good for people thad held their clone and pod, it give them nice bonus for being loyal but eggs right now are cheap IMO

While I think we should take into account the cost of the production of shoes, research, and other operational expenses I would imagine that Nike has made net profits from combination of the CloneX and its peripheral NFT projects and the assortment of NFT gated shoes they have released. I like what they are doing but there are a number of ways that they could have distributed better value to the holders of the NFT's. Atleast the market thinks so.

rtfkt probably hasnt made a profit in over a year

we havent really sold anything other than like 30k shoes and royalties have been nearly dead since 2022

animus reportedly cost us about 3 million to create over the span of 2~ years and we decided to cancel the public sale, cap the supply at 20k and send clone holders the remaining supply of unclaimed eggs at no extra charge

so that entire 2 year endeavor wont be making us any money aside from the negligible amount of royalty money the collection has made via sales amidst the dry bear market
