I want to buy a M US 13 & F US 6 (M US 4.5). But I’m not seeing them for sale on OS… is it really too late to get them?…

the contract got locked until unhubbing ends (may 29th)

and once unhubbing ends all of the hubbed nfts will update to forged

so the only real option left is to wait until theyre shipped out and you buy the physical shoe from someone

or you would have to trust someone who has a hubbed nft in your size to unhub their nft and put in your address to ship it to

can't recommend the latter for obvious reasons tho lol

I really like where Nike RTFKT is heading and want to be apart of the action but it’s so hard to keep up with the small time frames and understand all these new concepts. I was super excited for the CiRL and wanted one super bad. But it seem unless you have a CloneX or something to get exclusive access, you can’t get those rare items to forge.

You'd think the forge window would open a few times for an NFT community paying tons of money and commissions. Not to mention paying for a mint and missing utility based on a unknown date window at time of buying. Forge should stay open and people should mint at will. Ordering can be done bi-weekly the consumer wouldn't notice. Defeating a lot of hype and marketing potentials muting NFTs utility based on an undetermined date and forge window. I'm sure there's many more to rant on this - which is not good - rather lazy.

by having excess inventory you have to warehouse and dispatch the items as forge orders trickle in, this adds a lot of overhead,

single batch runs with a very small supply is probably better suited to how forge is done now. orders collected > factory creates a tight supply > distribution

this is how "drops" work on limited edition goods anyways, you're either there when the store opens or site goes live on that calendar date, or you miss out.

Certainly sets the bar. - I quite new here, does this project have history of any "under promise, over deliver" with collabs ? Im on the fence if I should buy one or not - i guess a couple of eggs and genisis dunks would be a safer purchase

It's a physical rimowa cabin so it's up to you to decide whether this luxury piece of carry on luggage is worth it to you or not at this price.
I suggest watching some rimowa cabin reviews on YouTube, most of them address the "is it worth it?" question

Plus the RTFKT rimowa comes in at a real premium too, so ultimately I think it's hard to justify for anyone less than the most hardcore of RTFKT fans.

FWIW, I'm personally getting two.

It's possible the mystery contents of the rimowa that gets revealed on forge might really sweeten the deal tho. But that's a gamble, so you better be happy with just the luggage.

I have a wild theory tho that rimowa being part of the LVMH fashion house, might reveal or access a future mint pass to an RTFKT x LV collab

which means that the ones you bought already claimed the physical shoe

there are two "states" shown in the metadata

"forged" and "hubbed"

the "forged" nfts already claimed their physical and added shipping info

"hubbed" nfts had no address attached during the mint which is what this unhubbing event is for

to add an address to currently hubbed nfts
