Guys I have some concerns from the sample video of the shoes. Zaptio continually refers to LEATHER. The previous documentation etc made no reference to real leather being used. I do not buy or use leather products, it is fundamentally against my beliefs and I am appalled to now learn that the shoes I purchased are now being made out of this material

Please can you confirm asap whether this is real or faux leather, and if the former, why was this not disclosed previously?

You have to be careful and do research on which NFT you are buying. Some have already been claimed and you are simply buying the NFT(which is fine for some). Some have a price with a forge/physical item baked into the price already. Some have a price for the nft with a separate cost to “forge” the physical item.

The idea is for both virtual and physical product to coexist, which is why one of their slogans is “world merging”. In this case you can use both for the full experience but in the event you have to sell you still have your virtual item or Vice versa. It provides that transparency because it is onchain so you know if it’s been sold to someone else or if it’s only been with one owner. Similar to cars where there’s a record of ownership. The benefit I would say is that it’s not limited or exclusive to just owning the item so you can still enjoy it in some form.
