It's sad to see, especially as a long-term Clone holder. CloneX are going for less rn than Pudgy Penguins.

Then in December it they revealed it was actually just a $100 off coupon to mint/forge a nearly $400 pair of physical shoes. Also the NFT would be useless afterwards if you didn't forge (ie: want to spend more money, on top of the MNLTH 2, which lots of people bought straight up). Also it couldn't ship outside of the US.

Yeah, I think if the box had actually been the shoes it would have been fine. At least then people who it couldn't ship to would be able to resell them. But nobody wanted a coupon, very few people wanted the shoes, and the box didn't contain the next MNLTH. Instead, the new MNLTH X was airdropped to people, so some people ended up buying thinking they'd get the next MNLTH but instead got stuck with just a coupon.

To be honest, I think if they can fix up some of their comm issues and really deliver hard on their next few things, I think all things RTFKT can recover. They have a ton of backing, and I think their vision for what they're doing is strong. I do think they'll eventually deliver on Dunks, and I have no plan to sell mine. But I also think it's risky enough to buy into RTFKT now that, for example, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend new to crypto. More Dunks could be a good idea, it's really just about your risk tolerance and whether you think the RTFKT guys can deliver on them and their coming projects (or announce another coupon and tank everything for good lol)

Yes if you’re looking to get the physical sneaker, you should filter for hubbed nfts.

Hubbed essentially means it’s a confirmed preorder so size and color is already chosen but you can input the address you want to send it to (be wary shipping is only within US, so if you are outside of US you will need to find a reshipper)
