Hello I consider myself part of the all player community. And NO. I don't consider patterning to be in anyway or remotely close an accurate way of crafting.
I respect all the people that believe in it and gives them confidence while crafting but is not a stated fact.

You most definitely don’t speak for all players and I guarantee you pretty much every whale in the game disagrees with you.

This feature could be fixed simply by adding an “auto-collect” toggle similar to auto speedup for training troops. Auto collect is excellent for template making, but a disaster for gambling rolls

While some people are fervent supporters and believers in patterns and have “luck” in finding patterns that work for them, at the end of the day, it’s a numbers game. IMO the most surefire way to increase your chances of getting what you want is quantity. The more temps you roll, by default you are increasing your odds of achieving the desired outcome.

I’m not shooting down anyone that is a strong supporter of finding and using patterns, but to say this is representative of all players is a flawed premise

You can. May I introduce you to the "inventory"? If you enter the Smith, you can find it on the first page. The inventory is so to say the books of what you have so far done in the Smith previously.
