Apologies for a vague post but I'm trying to get a nicer look for the game I'm building but struggling to work out exactly what it is I'm looking for. The game some how looks unpolished and I want to take it to that next step. I realise I need to turn anti-aliasing on which helps but I'm wondering if there are obvious things that I'm missing. Somehow the scene doesn't feel "thick" or its too washed out or something I can't put my finger on.
- The scene is low poly to allow for a bunch of low end mobile devices
- Theres an ambient light and a single directional light
- Basic shadows at the moment
Anyone got any suggestions for next steps to get to a better level of rendering?
