Hello everyone, I am just beginning the solo hometown project. I saw in the video that we are supposed to press the three dots in the bottom right corner to create our own Scrim, however, the UI is outdated and I don't see any options for creating a new scrim for this project. Do people do these projects in Scrimba, or should I use a seperate code editor?

Yeah it's not intuitive haha. Right click on top of the page where you see the whole path of the course, and select "Remix". It will open a new scrim, saved under your profile, which you can remame and access whenever needed.
You can also download the files and work on your own code editor if you want, it doesnt' really matter as long as you're comfortalbe with your setup 🙂
Don't download code in your local and run it.
You can manually create project and write code in your local.
It helps you to get practical knowledge, seeing and doing is different.
If you code it in your local than just seeing, your practical coding skill will significantly improve.,
WOW thank you so much! this was not intuitive at all and I couldn't find this info on their website whatsoever. THANK YOU!! They really ought to update their lessons to explain this. You are the best!
