#Deploy your Businesscard issue

Hi there!

I've found some trouble when trying to launch my Businesscard on Netflify. I am following the video and have connected Git to Netflify but when I arrive at the part you see on the picture I can't go passed this step. Even tho the Scrim says we should not change any of the settings.

I don't know where to start. I've did not found a easy fix when looking deeper in to Build settings, it was really overwhelming.

When I click "Deploy the Businesscard" at the bottom It says "Fill in this field"

Anyone who knows what to do?

I don't see anything wrong with the screenshot you posted. Is there something further down on that page?

Where it says "Branch to deploy" when I click Deploy at the bottom of the page is tells me to "Fill in this field"

I can't select a branch, and the guide said not to change any settings just deploy without changing anything.

But when I try to write something in the branch there is nothing to select.

No wonder Netlify can't find anything to build from 😉

Download Github Desktop, it makes handling pushing your code to Github much easier

Did you drag and drop your code files to the Github repo shown here?

Yes I followed all the steps and dragged the files. Clearly something went wrong at some point.
Alright, I've downloaded the app now.
I'm on the Frontend career path - Build a digital Business Card.
