Getting an "undefined" and have absolutely no idea why. when I compare my code to the solution it seems to be exactly the same

For your formData state, you have:

const [formData, setFormDats] = React.useReact({/*state values... */})

useReact in specific is the issue. It is undefined. Change that to React.useState instead.
