this shows those particles of fire and soot
here is an amazing pic of the thing i call mama in sowntown
pic of the gunner
pic of sprawl in hospital
Yes all that is pc
Beautiful!
Goodness! Indeed it does!
Breathes or pumps fluid?
The sprawl pods do the same thing
Oh good point.
But if it pumps fluid from where and to where?
And we don’t see any movement inside the sprawl
Could be breathing .. just considering all the alternatives.
Either way it's likely some form of pumping.
Breathing is pumping air.
True true!!
Anyone around to do a lore-hunting run?
I am.
All good
What y'all Wana talk about? Anything on your mind
Chinese takeaway 😂
Food 🙄😊
(Sorry, bit flippant)
On a more relevant note - could talk about our overall vision with hunting for the lore. Is the aim to build one unifying lore, or develop separate bit equally valid stories?
Really good question .. we are, as it were, ready talking about alternate realities.
.
Personally, I always feel like the first step in these endeavors is to gather all the 'facts' .. in this case, those immutable material as presented right in the game itself. Then .. the next body of evidence is the written intentions of the developer.
Finally, without contradicting the first two, develop a lore that has literary interest and value.
That is up to the group. I'd say as long as we have proof for what we think is going on, or logic tells us something happened, anything can happen
Wow! Two, somewhat different approaches. @quaint atlas your approach is evidence-based, rational. @celest coral yours is more fluid, still evidence-based. Maybe not that different after all 🤔
I'm still reluctant to abandon my fungus theory, should we drop it? Or is it still viable
They are similar approaches. Both want to be consistent and loyal to the source material.
I just like to have evidence first because there is always the temptation for creators to have a good idea .. and then look for the evidence to support it.
That approach can be used to great effect. But it tends to allow more subjective elements creep in. For instance, this happens to Tolkien a lot. Done correctly, it can however create some wonderful fan-fiction because it allows the world to be expansive.
Done incorrectly however, and you end up with M. Night Shyamalan 'Avatar the Last Airbender' 🤮
If it explains the infection then I believe it's still viable .. but question is .. is there any merit to it being a fungal infection?
And that's why I wanted a lore team. Differant viewpoints and perspectives
There is real life fungal behavior that we see in game, and we can have fungal infection that would cause a lock down of personal quarters like we sometimes hear about coming into the line
But yes, @quaint atlas I am very biased on the fungal idea
It just solved so much at the time
Good examples. (Though I didn’t mind Last Airbender too much 😁)
.
I guess you'd have to explain the lack of spores and other fungal traits (such as aversion to sunlight).
I'm sorry .. I don't think I can work with you anymore 😝😝😝 j/k
Well I don’t know the source material for it well you see, so you will have to pardon me my ignorance 😂
Ok how about we take the fungal theory first, and look at the evidence for it? @celest coral ?
You are actually a great asset with that type of point of view. We can ask you if something makes sence
Then you owe it to yourself to watch it .. one of the best anime series of all time!!
Didn't think about this, but we are in a new ice age, so sunlight levels are super low
Ah actually I have seen a couple of episodes but really only after the film, and still doesn’t count as knowing it. Thank you, I will.
And spores could exist, that's what the pods are that we shoot to kill snows
One theory that was proposed was that eaters spread spores. Hence why they blind you
If you watch just ONE episode to understand the story .. watch Season 1 Episode 12, 'the Storm'.
I’ll watch it episode 1 onwards 😊
Ok .. I can get on board with eaters spreading spores ..
The problem there is how they are formed. We know eaters are common snows that are too many other snows. Doesn't mean they CANT spread spores, but it not evidence that they DO
If you don't like episode 12, then my take is .. one probably won't like the series. Watch at least to episode 12. 👍
What about ‘spoilers’? 😊
This is where creative license comes into play.
Why are you so interested in fungus as a theory? What draws you to it?
Not really a problem .. it's episode 12 of 61 .. doesn't spoil forwards .. just explains backwards. (Back story episode)
One thing we learn from Relay Tower is that there is a symbiotic relationship between snowbreed and the sprawl ..
Can we find any evidence of that being symbiotic with fungus?
Oh could you tell me more please? About the symbiotic relationship and how it works in Relay?
Well the reason why the smasher regenerates is because it's drawing something from the sprawl.
The smasher eats, at least we think, the sprawl to regenerate. Also, don't forget about the sprawl/smasher we see dead in skid row
They say ot several times that there is a symbiotic relationship .. relay and Chinatown I believe.
We know sprawl has a juice like fluid In it
And skid, if you look in the put
Pit
Let's look at it this way. How did we find juice/harvest to begin with, before the pollution and nuclear war. Where did it come from to start
Sorry . Where in Skid row?
At the bottom of the first zip line. Where you stand on the scaffolding. Look in the holes
It would seem to have been manufactured. From what raw compounds, we are unsure.
What makes you say it was manufactured over being natural
Because it's referred to as innovation .. not discovery. .. and boosters were 'developed '.
But we could still find a natural source or material, and refine it. That's still an innovation, like what happened in my story
But to be clear, I wanted a team to this exact reason, poke holes and make things the best we can
Well everything starts with some natural resource .. I think that's pretty much a fact .
But you're saying it's a fungus.
It's not for us to prove why it's manufactured .. it's for us to prove it's a fungus.
I'm not mad that we are disagreeing, I'm enjoying it
I'm not sure I'm even disagreeing .. I just want to know what evidence we can drum up to support it ..
Spores from eaters is an interesting start.
Those could be spores ..
I'd recommend reading this thread from the begining. You can watch things change and evolve and see how we drew our conclusion
.
Um .. can you just give a synopsis?
We know infection is a thing, so it's a matter of what kind of infection, fungal? Bacteria? Parasite?
On that thought, tardigrades, water bears, what are they considered?
They are not an infection per se .. they are just organisms.
Also, there is a question of when the infecting thing came around. Cause it is possible we made an organism or virus, and things ran out of control as it evolved
I was asking what kind, bacteria?
.
Right .. ok so here's a thought
Then being so indestructible would be a great start for juice
It really depends how much we want to draw from science
We see that the evolution is surprising Frank and Luna .. so the speed is quickly happening
Virus evolve the fastest
Then bacteria
Then fungus
.
Fungus evolve rather slow in comparison. On several orders of magnitude.
.
Question .. do we have any evidence from real life where infections greatly distort the physiology of the host?
.
Kinda like elephant man or ..
So I'd say in game facts trump everything. But real life science can be used to fill in holes as long as it doesn't contradict in game knowlage
Any fungal infections do that?
So true .. we are so strong, we can carry 4 guns and about 100 lbs of ammo while running around in the snow 😝😝
Actually, yes, there is a fungus that causes ants to help spread it, there is a parasite or bacteria or something that wants to end up in cats. People can catch it, and if things line up, it will make you want more cats
Juice could explain that, but it could also be a gameplay thing
These teams fun for their lives a lot, so they are active. So strength just comes with repitition
Yeah fungal Cordyceps
The zombie fungus.
This was done rather nicely in LoU and GwAtG ..
And they explained the spores perfectly.
There's one for cats too. It causes mice to act weird to get eaten by a cat, even makes the mouse attracted to cats. The same affect can be seen in some infected humans
Ok .. for now let's assume it's a fungus.
See where it takes us.
.
No better theory really.
Manufactured still could be possible. Like gene therapy. We use viruses for that, that explains infection. It evolved in a way we didn't want, so it's not a negative infection.
Vertigo is a little all over the place with the story, like how the ice age is caused by both pollution AND.l a nuclear war
AND we have to figure out what's just a game mechanic, like why we can't hurt our own team or our selves
Another good question. What happens to the dead snows. Yes, in game they just disappear, but in real life they'd stick around
I can’t unsee it after you showed me it. I’ve shown it to others since then.
Actually they do. I remember now.
My jaw dropped when someone showed it to me
I generally hate having two reasons for the same thing.
Pharmaceuticals plus infection.
Pollution plus nuclear war.
Just tends to be messy.
Next thing you know .. there are aliens to explain everything 😝😝😝
But it's what vertigo has said is going on
This is exactly what I was thinking. Look at the evidence for each theory.
Yep .. but game developers aren't always the best literally mavens.
Ahh id like to think there is. I don’t like fungi 😁
But maybe more akin to real life then?
To be honest I think the lore we develop will be way beyond what the game developers envisaged
Me neither .. but I'm trying to keep an open mind.
Do you have an idea?
Ironically true.
Well I thought we’d gather all the points for and against the fungal theory - in one post maybe? Bullet points? @celest coral ? Then start to look at other theories.
.
I generally like to just get most the info first .. then see what we have to work with.
.
I can comb though the thread and redo my notes. I know I took some off as I wrote my story
Would be good to group the evidence under headings or something. Just so it’s not just a lot of narrative.
Def .. organizing info!!! is k'bam!!
Just had a thought. If it's fungal based, snows would stay away from light. And we see them do that. Their spawn points are in walls and buried in snow
Here's a line from the game
The LA sewers are off limits. Unusual snowbreed activity has lead to...no known survivors.
Is that confirmation that mama and/or the nest are moving/growing in the sewer?
whats on everyones mind
I rain QC recently .. so the time frame of ATF is prob 2012-ish.
Jimmy says .. I used to get stuck in traffic here. 20 years later, I'm stuck in snowbreed.
Since the re-election was 1992 .. this means the game events is about 2012-ish ??
it wasnt quite 20, i think it was 16 or 17, the tv in the tutorial room gives more details on when things when bad
I really need to reset my game and get that on video ..
Or does anyone else have that?
.
Maybe even the PC versions?
You can just use the tutorial floppy in the armory
Yes, guys, please watch the tape in the tutorial room. Please. Also note, its got the Malconn logo on the tape
Anyone notice anything lately?
I redod the intro and filmed the VCR part .. will post it shortly.
thank you my friend
I just haven’t had the time or thinking space to notice much. Will be following what’s chatted about here.
has anyone found anything interesting lately?
Here is the full script of the presidential speech on the radio. I've transcribed it from the game audio files.
_"My fellow Americans. It's been four years since I spoke to you from my home town here in L.A. Together, we faced many difficult problems, and I've come to feel a special bond of kinship with each one of you.
When I first addressed you from here, our national defence was weak, we had suffered humiliations abroad, but most importantly, our economy was on the total brink of collapse.
Today, I see a different America. Thanks to market innovation, our soldiers are the strongest the world has ever seen. And due to the unrelenting drive of this proud republic, the whole world can enjoy our newly developed Boosters. America is back and standing tall.
But make no mistake; tough challenges litter our path. Our climate is degrading rapidly and now, many people are cold, hungry, and sick. There is no question about it: only Boosters will brace our bodies to survive the coming winter.
We must act NOW and we must act FAST! Los Angeles has been the test case, but the results speak for themselves. Our companies are ready, but Washington is holding back.
Only though deregulation can we spread innovation. Just like we did with defence. Just like we did with our economy. A vote for my re-election is a vote to safeguard our future.
Thank you, and God Bless America!"_
Thanks, someone was just asking about it in the welcome to the line chat
You bet 🙂 I posted it there as well
Has anyone found anything interesting? I haven't been able to play, I have severe stick drift that forces me t forever turn left
Or right, don't remember
I think most people in this thread have been playing other games. I’ve been playing ATF but not found anything interesting (not looked to be honest!) . .
Interesting sound file that I found
Where did you find that
I extracted the games audio files
And that's just weird .. why would climate change affect the pattern of earthquakes? Ugh .. pseudo-science. 🙄
By this sense there shouldn't be any earthquakes in snowy countries lol
What does the "fall" refer to anyway?
The fall is a couple of things, but if a play on words, and this info is coming straight from the developers. After the fall refers to after the nukes fell and nuclear winter took over, and the fall of human kind
After the fall takes place in an alternate timeline where in the cold war, nukes were used, also info from the developers
Yes, but it wasn't just a war, it was a fight for resorces
Did some quick googling, couldn't find a link between cooling and quakes, but humans tend to connect things that aren't connected. Perhaps there are still quakes, as seen in how torn up the ground is in things like skid row, but it's being blamed on mama, the giant worm you see in downtown
98% of the time, they are very careful with word choice. The ONLY exception I've seen of this is the bigger grenade. It's description in older versions said that it worked as an emp, but when we presented the question of how it worked to the devs, they said it was a mistake, and actually changed it
Can you say more about emp? What's that?
An emp, or electromagnetic pulse, is a burst of energy that if strong enough, can damage or destroy electronics that aren't protected enough. Nukes, solar flares, and specifically designed devices all do this
I have a dischord dedicated specifically to atf lore if you are interested
I am
Interested, I mean.
I'll pm it to you
From Nasa Climate blog. Simply, quakes are caused by tectonic events which happen waaaay deep in the earth; deeper than climate can have a significant effect .. even ice ages.
I've quakes are a thing though, not true earthquakes, but basicly the same affect from the ground freezing
So yeah .. cooling can't cause or stop quakes. But I admit that all of it is a fantasy scenario. So bending science is a given.
But with that, cold would cause more "quakes" not less
Right.
My knee jerk reaction was that mama, from downtown, has something to do with it
Yeah .. I like that approach better.
One thing that dawned on me listening to the recording is that politicians often spread misinformation (fake facts).
.
And that does fit with the theme .. so it might be an accurate representation of how the political machine is being used in that alternative reality.
It's the literal end of the world, panic, if not managed correctly, could cause more harm then the ice itself
(Making it seem that the cold had some benefit).
A massive giant worm burrowing around making giant sinkholes would definitely cause minor quakes and buildings to tip and collapse.
In the begining it did, drive people to use harvest to help survive the cold, back when it was a medicine and not what it is now. Skid row has an example of this, back wall of the arcade, on the first floor has a display shelf of stuff
But that recording said there was LESS quakes after the fall, not more
But that recording said there was LESS quakes after the fall, not more
Yeah .. what caused the cold is not 100% clear .. I'm inclined to agree with you that it's nuclear war. And the downstream effects are a series of carefully spun stories to control the population.
.
That poster of a nuke going off with the word OPPORTUNITY in the Line supports that.
Yeah .. so that would make it seem like the cold has a benefit. Just a spin on the story of how nuclear winters are bleak.
.
But not true causality. Just misinformation and pseudoscience.
So I just noticed this. I'm playing boulevard, I went down the Zipline, to the section where you enter the pipe. There's some sprawl on the left, and I happened to hear what sounds to me like a low roar or moan of some massive beast (probably mama, from downtown) and moving water and muck indicating the sewers
Could support the fact that mama moving around is causing the ground to break up. I'm standing in that spot as I type this, every now and then a different noise will play. Really sounds like something mama would make
If you go into the pipe, you hear RUNNING water, dripping and flowing. RUNNING WATER. In a winter scape like atf, water shouldn't be running
There have also been voice lines I've never heard before, just can't remember what they said
I've been away from the game for a while due to stick drift, but there have been new things I've been noticing.
What's everyone's thoughts
Could water that is underground still be running? Eg underground spring because the core of the earth would still be hot right?
Remember, we find Mama in the sewers
I agree about the voice lines. I’m sure I came across something in a run where one of the other players said ‘oh I’ve never heard that before’
Those could still be liquid
True!
Yes
I've heard two or three new ones since I started playing again
Also, if you can afford it, get an oculus 3, runs better, it's lighter and more comfterble
I’ve got one 😊 definitely better
We also see bone shards in the sprawl in oculus, so that is very likely to be an important detail
And we know sprawl and Mama are somehow conected
But did Mama make sprawl or did sprawl become mama
We can't go by order of release in the game as that does not indicate time passing in universe, usually in most games
Or is the sprawl just an extension of ‘mama’. Various tentacles.
That is valid
What the fffffuuuuckk? Is the Skid Row arcade called Vertex Arcade?
This is artwork from the After the Fall vinyl!
Quest 3 is actually a little heavier than Quest 2.
It feels lighter, i guess cause itsbsmaller
I'll have to check it out
Yep. Closer center of gravity
i have a theory that the player is traumatized / has ptsd from juggernauts, they're the only mini-boss that has their own theme, and due to the fact that you quite literally get your head punched off by one at the start it makes sense to me. anyone feel the same?
That is a great point.
And that brings up a great question. What state are we in when we are frozen? And why is being frozen sometimes permanent?
why are we frozen in the first place? why dont we die like normal people? the zombies dont turn into frozen ice.
that's an amazing question ngl, might have to think of that in my next horde run
but it may also be a sense of plot armor because if we js got infected then the game couldnt continue but still yk?
Can someone DM me an invite for the ATF Lore Discord? Please and thanks 🙂
Do you mean the one im runing
I love the simulation theory, kinda like the plot in "The Labyrinth" it would explain the futuristic tech while we're supposedly in the 80s, the ranking, why all the environment looks so artificial, the game mechanics. Doesn't explain the reason behind the experiment but I see that as a plus 🙂
So why do we freeze. Well, lets play with an idea. I theorize that juice works by stimulating stem cell growth. When we freeze and font take too much damage, juice is actually healing us by repairing the damage. A permanent freeze is because the damage was too severe. And unfortunitely, vertigo already confirmed that it is not a simulation
The things is that if you don't start by stating its a simulation you're going to have to explain a lot of things that are onlythere because it's a game, dare I say, a simulation. Literally. Like the juice, why do we fight by group of 4 and not like by 12, 27, 50, like we would actually do, what's up with the harvest, all these pretty gamy things. How about we're trapped in an interplanetary spaceship. We're heading toward a new earth, very far away, cuze we messed up this one badly. The new one is however located further from its sun than earth and probably in some sort of ice age. Before we left we've detected evidence of life in the atmosphere but the ice storm are so dense we cannot see the surface. Its going to be a very long journey and before we get there Vertigo had everyone on board put in some cryostatis state, hooked up to the main computer. The computer was responsible for the navigation Life support, everything. At first people were using the virtual reality to just entertained themselves, film, sex, video game, but after a while we ran out of content, depression among the cargo(us) spread like wildfire and ppl started to die. The main computer had no idea why and had to evolve its protocols. It pulled all the log of these pat 100, 200, whatever years and realised that people experiencing a moderate level of stress, ppl gambling, and ppl working together toward a common goal were less susceptible to develop deadly symptoms. It cooked up "after the fall" in such a way that we would not question "the nature of our reality", stay engaged with eachother, the right amount of stress, just the right amount of reward. [There's plenty of room as to why it came up with a game set in the 80s, why the snow, are some of us starting to break free of the illusion, why vertigo insist "its not a simulation "whatever you want, is AS also part of the simulation like an A-B test to figureout what works better]
If you say its actually really happening then saying things like the juices are part of the diegese but not the score board or the ammo boxes feel wrong, like too arbitrary. Too much suspension of disbelief needed for that. Am I the only one ?
Oh well ... I tried 😅
I get what you are saying
Oooo I get it now you guys are trying to guess what was the INTENDED story
The trick to lore hunting, besides asking why for everything, is figuring out what is there for lore, what is there because of limitations in the game. For example, dead snows disappearing is obviously a game thing, due to limitations.
And i like that you put a lot of thought into your argument. I really do
Im not trying to bad mouth you at all
Yeah i get it "Lore hunting" makes it more clear
You're basically hunting for clue left by the devs to figure out what is the official story
Please, please dont let this discourage you.youre creative. We need that
Yes
Nah bro, just trying to figure out what the rules are
Okay I get it a little bit more now
Here is a bit of advice. Ohr best tool is to ask, why.
Let me walk you through something. Take this one step at a time. Dont read ahead until you have thought about the question and came up with your own answer (and i would love to hear those answers) i walk all new lore hunters through this. So try this
Why are eaters called eaters?
So lets look at the game. Where do we see eating in the game, names have meaning in after the fall. Well, we see snows eating dead snows in what i call feasts.
Ok. Why do the feasts happen?
Well, we know snows live off of harvest. So they are desperate for any source they can get
Ok. So what makes eaters special, why are they not everywhere?
Well, what if eaters are rare because they were not just living off of harvest, but addicted to it?
Ok. So where do we see evidence of harvest addiction?
Boosters are made from harvest. And if you listen to jimmy when he uses one, he has very odd voice lines
So, because of one question, why are eaters called eaters, we tied so many things together.
Okay so I obviously had to read the whole thing to understand the thought process behind it. I already have a couple of questions, mostly about methodology. I'm gonna take some time to think about it tho. Ty
Feel free to ask, and i look forward to it
I do have a couple. First and foremost: do you guys have a document to present the current state of the investigation. List of clues, their possible explanation, questions that still remains.
So we can avoid this kind of thing and make it easier for ppl to join in
Also, let say we reach a consensus on something, what then ... ? At which point do we ask vertigo to weight in ? When do we know we've solved the puzzle?
Cuze you guys have been going back and forth on wether or not it's a fungal or viral infection...could go on for ever
I can make a document, it will just take me a while. And in a previous forum here, also a lore forum i started, vertigo did reach out and help steer us in the right direction.
A synthetic view of all we know is a must have moving forward. Tell us how we can help
Ok. I cant get my old lore thread to come up, but i do have a notepad file on my computer at home with a majority of not all the points we agreed on in that thread. I can post it here once i get home
What platform does everyone play on
Like i play pcvr and oculus stand alone
Just asking cause i know quest doesnt show everything like pc does, and quest does change things
Filling out the Fandom Wiki for ATF may be a good idea to keep things organized. It's fairly thin at the moment with lots of details still needing to be added.
https://afterthefall-vr.fandom.com/wiki/After_the_Fall
Anything that goes there though should be as close to 'canon' as possible though
As a good example for comparison, GTFO's Fandom Wiki is filled out quite well in all aspects of the game, lore included:
A good idea, im just not sure because most of what we came and come up with is theory, would that still work
No, I don't think theory crafting should go on there. But if we can nail down the proper game lore based on the game developer's ideas and intentions that would be the goal
Or, maybe there could be a separate section for theory crafting? I'm honestly not too familiar with other Fandoms to know if that's a thing on other ones
My lord crafting group has a section dedicated to crafting
But the thread here was meant to do the same
Are the synopsis and plot section there considered canon ?
Whats the sorce
I'm honestly not sure
Depends on source. If its from vertigo, yes, wikipedia, it could be considered but would need investigation
It may very well originate from this server from when the devs are more active. Hard to say
There is a ton of history on this server that the devs participated in earlier discussions that could be searched for, I would assume that's where the info came from. I think it was added in early 2022 after the game's release
https://afterthefall-vr.fandom.com/wiki/User:T3hp0larbear
This is the user that originally created it. Not sure if they are on this Discord
@vague radish ?
Hi hello yes
Hi, thanks for joining in. We're just trying to figure out a way to give some sort of structure/methodology to our lore hunting thing. Any insights you wanna share ?
The plot synopsis on the wiki was my own writing based entirely on my observations of things happening in game. I tried to keep speculation to a minimum and just retell facts as I understood them
All of the backstory comes from the VHS tape you can put into the TV in the intro mission
Have you looked into the runs themselves to help supplement that vhs
Example, we know sprawl pods are a new development while we do runs, could we say that those lead to the creature we see in downtown
Not sure. To be honest, I haven't played AtF in a good long while, last time I was able to play was around the Boulevard update, so that's about where my offhand knowledge of the game ends
I played briefly recently with a friend and saw the new maps added, haven't seen the content yet
I would suggest if you have something that seems like a logical conclusion like this creature maybe being an evolution of sprawl tentacles, I would probably put that into like a "trivia" or "speculation" section of the relevant article until word of god confirms it, or there's exposition found somewhere in the game that does it and can be screenshotted/recorded
So i have notes from a previous thread, and i note what points came from vertigo themselves. What would i do with points from and not from vertigo, ive never messed with Wikipedia before
I cant pull up the old thread, might not exist any more
Least i hope o have those notes, ive changed computers since, but i still have the hard drive
Absolutely use the wiki. I am but one person and my hyperfixated interest in the game that fueled its creation and initial maintenance has tapered off. I might have created it and be an admin of it, but I'm not out to yell at anyone that doesn't read my mind on how I set out to do things. With a wiki about something like this, I would say that getting information up and established with citations is more important than the presentation. Someone can always pretty things up later
So conclusion, we work on the wiki together, jotting down our points and in game things to suport said points? Again, ive never written a wiki, have no idea how
Just like, make sure not to confidently present unconfirmed things as facts.
Or like how to make differant sections or anything
I do plan on doing youtube after the new year once my husband gets set up
Geez, I dunno how to start with advising how to "properly" use a wiki. Also, I did pretty much just wake up
It's probably vague, but first take a look around and see how things currently are organized on a high level. In terms of how content is stored, a wiki is a mostly unsorted collection of articles but you can add categories to them so people can pull up category pages
If you have facts to add, think about if those facts are best suited to their own, new articles or if they would go better under an existing article
I think you guys could probably also add some sort of speculation article as a bit of a scratch pad of unconfirmed ideas, as long as it's clear that the contents of that article are not to be taken as fact
On Wikipedia, all pages have a "talk" version of the page for people to discuss the content of a page, I forget if fandom does the same thing or if they turned it into a comment feature
Check Fandom's help articles on how to edit and contribute, too
I also noticed they have a Discord server:
Thanks for doing the initial work to set up the Wiki, and also for staying on this server - it's very awesome that we were able to tag you and get some first hand knowledge from you on this. Super helpful and very much appreciated 🙂 ❤️
Just keep in mind that the ultimate goal of the wiki is for a new player to be able to click around and get important, true information with as little ambiguity as possible.
Yeah, life may have pulled me away from the game and my autism and ADHD may have had me hyperfixate on other stuff, but I still enjoy AtF
It's still my favourite VR game after all these years. Nothing quite like it
