have you seen enough finops/greenops c onversations in other channels to justify a dedicated channel? The risk is having a channel that is dead and just gets deleted in 6 months because no one uses it

It's not about the 🦈 , it's about how to use Azure smart and not something like, enroll your personal PC into Azure Arc, enable Pay-as-you-go, and let it charges you like $100/day/computer for nothing.

The question is not whether this is a topic in the server it's whether it needs its own channel. We can create it and if it's crickets in the channel after a month or two we'll just archive it. We could also revisit the other channels and see if there are gaps where finops could find a home among other topics
